Was wondering how to remove the pictured cam button. Engine is a 1965 426 wedge. Not a max wedge.

    Strange noise

So I took my 65 Barracuda out for its first small road trip. Everything ran as it should except for a weird noise coming from the steering column area. Sounded like a faint wind noise even when the car wasnt moving. Would go away if the wheel was turned slightly. Any thoughts?

    65 Dart GT

Well it looks like my son has caught the bug. He made his first mopar purchase today. I think he made a great choice. 1965 Dodge Dart GT. Just drove it 4 hours home with no hiccups. Let the fun begin. Thanks to Mike in Michigan for being great with answering all our questions.

    318 help

My nephew has a very nice looking valiant with a mild built 318. It starts easily and sounds really good. Problem is when you put it into drive or reverse it dies. Sometimes even if you 2 pedal it. We installed a new carb but still the same problem. Any ideas?

    65 Barracuda carpet

So we are working on the carpet and there is a piece that we are having a problem figuring out where it goes. It's the piece that looks like an L. We figure its goes across the back to hide the trim holes under back glass but the extra has us stumped. Major brain fart.

    Long's Garage

Thought I would share a few photos of my grandpa's dealership. My dad was the service manager during the heyday of mopars. If he had only kept one. Haha. I guess this is where my love of Mother Mopar comes from. It was so much fun running through the building when I was young. The last pic is...

    New barn

So the wife and I bought a new house together and we decided to build a nice big barn to work on the cars in. She figured this way she would know for sure where I was at most of the time. Haha Should be finished by mid March. Cannot wait. I went with 36x48x14.

    The Chase

So my current project is kinda in the home stretch so it's always fun to start looking for the next project. Have a lead on these 2 cool barracudas. If I can't purchase them I bet the story will be neat to hear. The blue one is very intriguing even missing the front clip.

    Father Son 65 Barracuda

So it begins. A really cool rebuild of a classic early barracuda. Just a little background on us. We are a Mopar family when it comes to old cars. My dad was a Chrysler Plymouth service manager from the early 60s to late 70s. He has already restored 6 old mopar to which we have only sold 1. I...

    Weiand intake help

So I just picked up a nice 1965 273 commando minus intake and carb. The guy threw in a Weiand 7507. Is this going to work or will I just have to save it for a later project?

    New project

Brand new to the site. Just started the tear down and rebuild of a 1965 Barracuda with a 273 and factory air. NM car with 35000 miles. The more I tear it down the more excited I am to see it come back to life.
