I need a Hurst shifter handle for a 71 Duster with a bench seat. Prefer the bayonet style but i can drill holes if that is the only handle available
Thanks
A friend of mine is building a 1969 340 but he's using a 1972 cast crank and vibration damper. He ask me which TCC he should use 67-69 or 70 and up i told i would have to think about it,which one would be correct?
Just get the four numbers off the front of the shifter housing the side pointed toward the bell housing when installed and then you will know exactly what the shifter fits
UPDATE the only number on the shifter is 3636793 and I got the linkage rods back I sold them to a friend of mine he said they wouldn't work so I bought them back they go with the shifter
I don't know the model number but I will go by the shop and write them down ive been running it on a 71 Duster for 2 years it comes with the shifter, mounting plate and no linkage rods or boot
I have a Hurst Vertigate shifter it has some pitting in the chrome it still shines and a boot would probally cover it its not show guality but a good daily driver it upshifts and down shifts very well and very fast it comes with the mounting plate and the linkage rods im putting a time...
