    Problem with Mighty Demon 750

I know this is an old thread but I thought I'd chime in. You HAVE to lean out the IFR's on a Demon carb they are rediculously rich from the factory. Mine are at .028 if memory serves me correctly. Get the IFR's set before anything else. My target is to get the primary butterflies set to 1 turn...

    Shorten steering column

OK here's a question I've had for a long time... I've read a bazillion times that going from a manual steering gear to a power steering gear that you need to "get a shorter steering column shaft" The shafts are actually 2 pieces that are held together with a couple of nylon pins. 1 section...

Police vrs. firm feel and steer and gear

I have a newly rebuilt police power steering chunk sitting around and am also planning on putting in my '69 dart. Question I have is how firm is this gear compared to the stage 2 and 3 boxes built by steer and gear and FF? Anybody with experience on the comparison of these units to the...

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

The part # I purchased was 9.13127G. It had 2 of 13010 and 13014 in it. It was like $13.11 through Amazon. with next day sir shipping and my primem membership. 13014 comes in a couple of other sets also I can't remeber which ones though. They are not sold individually.

You will have to buy that part number in one of the kits you have listed. unfortunately they are not sold individually at least as far as I know.

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

To anyone that may be interested I may have found a solution to the upper control arm ball joint dust boot not sealing. I used Energy Suspension part # 13014 and it sealed the UCA ball joint completly. If part # 13024 was available I bet it would not only seal it completly but give additional...

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

72 bluNblu... That may be true but I think a simple solution would be to put a neck on the area where the boot attaches to the arm just like the factory. While I know this is a challenge to mfg. it needs to be done otherwise these are useless. If Hotchkis has the same issue it needs to be fixed...

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

From what I've delt with I understand why they aren't being made anymore... Lack of attention to details. Now I have a set of upper control arms that we're not free and I cannot seal the ball joint so I'm stuck with UCA paperweights. Gotta love it!

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

Ok I now have the UCA in place with 4 threads showing on both the front and back adjuster. Now I have another question. Bear with me please... After installing the UCA I noticed that the ball joint is not perpendicular to the spindle, its at a rather severe angle. Here's a pic. Also note the...

    Dillinger adjustable UCA setup

Finally after a year of having these parts and life getting in the way I FINALLY am getting these in. I have the Dillinger adjustable UCA's and was wondering what people have done for the initial setup of these. What I'm wondering specifically is how many threads do you have showing above the...

    Dillinger tie rod conversion

I have couple of questions and am wondering if anyone can give me any help. 1) Is the ultimate goal on these to have it when these are installed that it is as parrallel to the ground as possible or doesn't it matter? If that is the goal then I'm assuming that you would want spacers and would...

    Major handling issue

I had a similar issue on a '69 Dart just not random like you are speaking it was consistantly doing what you are explaining. I had Poly ower control arm bushings and these were moving around during drivig. I went to regular bushings and Viola! the problem was gone. I'll never put poly lower...

    Minimum clearance

What is the minimum clearance for spring to tire and tire to inner fenderwell? I want to shoehorn 275's on the rear of my car. 275's will fit my drivers side fine. Passenger side I'll have to roll the lip a little to clear though. Gotta love the factory uncenteredness... if that is a word. :-)

    Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R

I really want a stickier tire that gets around 12,000ish miles and are dead without going to something like the ET streets. I'm looking for something stickier than TA's but still a street tire. Any other suggestions on tires?

    Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R

:burnout:Simple question. Has aybody run these tires on a street car? Are they stickier than BFG T/A's? I thinking of bolting a set of the 26 10 15's on my 69 Dart GTSwith the stock wheel well and it apears after measuring that they willm fit fine. Thoughts?

    TTI exhaust too loud

Maybe I'm just getting too fat old a bald. :) I think I'll bring it to my local muffler shop this spring after I get it out of storage... it's a warm -17 below here right now, without the windchill. Have the weld everything and be done with it. I love the sound of it... just not the...

    TTI exhaust too loud

Hi All, I have a full TTI exhaust on my '69 dart and boy is that thing loud driving down the road. Has anyone else had the same problem? hellwig swaybar install

IMHO The Addco bar hung too low and was a major eyesore. The installation instructions... well... we're not included. So you have parts and no direction on what goes where. The Hellwig bar is tight to the K and ground clearance is not an issue at all. If you want a great sway bar buy the...

    hellwig swaybar install

I just finished the install of my front sway bar and thought you'd be interested in what I found. I have a '69 GTS and overall the fit was very good. I have a slight angle issue with the bushings on the sway bar ends fitting perfectly but nothing I'm worried about since once I tightened the...

    Dart rocker trim install

Hi I am attempting to install the rocker trim on my '69 Dart GTS. This is the chrome piece that goes under the door, is attached at each end with 1 screw, and is about 3/4" wide and goes the entire distance of the rocker panel on the side of the car. Question I have is the plastic clips that...
