Thank you I think found something that will work

I need to move the solenoid location to make room for exhaust. The plan is to move it to the driver's side fender and run a wire instead of the copper piece that connects the passenger side post to the starter. Does anyone know what wire gauge is required to do this?

I took apart my dash to get at the fuel gauge and nothing was attached to the stud nut marked "S". So I looked at three other cars and same thing - nothing attached to that post. Does anyone know what would connect to that stud post? Thanks.

Thanks everyone I downloaded a manual and had a look at the fusible link. It was burnt so I made a new one and installed it, hooked the battery back up and now the lights work and it fired right up

Not sure about the dash but the trunk lid has the word “Valiant” instead of “Plymouth” I think that’s a Canadian Us difference on the ‘65, but again I’m no expert.
