Not sure. Didn't ask and don't have the tools to measure. When I get it I'll try to remember to take a pick with the adjuster in the cup.

I used a Trickflow length checker. I called Trickflow and the measurement is from the ball tip to the inside base of the cup. I ended up with 7.100. Ordered pushrods from Smith Bros and I'm getting oil through pushrods. They are sending me 1 so I can check my measurements just incase I measured...

I would be leaned toward the solid mount causing the noise. I’m running a 203/205 married setup in my truck with no transfer case noise. I do have rubber mounts. I’m praying for you that’s it’s not the case itself. That sumbitch is heavy.

I've only had the engine for about 6 months. No telling how the previous owner drove it. No one carries rockers in my state. Summit wants @ $20 to Ship 1 rocker. Thanks for the info and the warning. Need to get the truck running and don't have easy access to parts here in Hawaii. The Mancini rockers are $119 for the rockers alone. I guess my saving grace is that it's a truck that doesn't see north of 3000. No race tracks on Oahu.

I used Speedhut for my Sweptline. Great products with easy to understand instructions.

I will throw my hat in the ring for the Howards cam. My thought is you shouldn't have a problem with the valve guides with its advertised lift. Also, I just installed a Howards 710931-12 in a 68 340. Everything went smoothly and it worked out great for my application.

Two months ago I ordered a Howards 710931-12 set for a 68 340 in my 71 Sweptline. They had it in stock and I had it within a week. Install and break in went smoothly. Very happy with their service and products.

I sent mine back. The bolt hole was a little close to the water passage.

About a month ago I installed Howard's hft cam and lifters into a 68 340. Everything went smoothly with no problems. The lifters that came with it looked exactly like another set of regular Melling lifters that I have stashed.

I used the Northwest Fab setup so I wouldn't have to machine the 205 case for a larger input shaft. I than used JB Custom shifter assembly.

For my 71 Sweptline I combined the 203 and 205. You get the 205 strength with a 203 gear reduction. The three transfer case levers will confuse any possible thief’s.

They want $180 in shipping for an intake manifold and 1 set of valve covers. No free shipping to Hawaii. Last year my order had free shipping but that ship has sailed. Hawaii is back to international/non-American status.

I’m running Speedhut gauges on my Sweptline. The installation was straight forward with good instructions. The gps Speedo uses a bottle cap size mag mount pickup that I put on the dash under the windshield.

I’ll raise you, 1000 sqft fixer on a 5000 sqft lot for 1 million. Median home prices are @ $920,000.

I just bought a running 68 340 for $750. People in Hawaii are only interested in Chevys and Fords.
