Anyone ever chopped the top on an A-Body?

    i second that! i think a Duster with a 1" - 1 1/2" chop would look cool. 2" might be a bit extreme

location of twin hood scoops on 1970 Duster

Looks Good. And nice wheels. I searched through a ton of posts and found great info so far, just wondering if someone had the measurements of where the scoop goes on a duster. Mine being a 70 I have no start point to find where to put the scoop. If someone has measurements of the twin scoops on...

location of twin hood scoops on 1970 Duster

Hey Moparman, did you ever get those measurements from a '71? I have a '70 Duster that I am getting ready to put twin scoops on and am running into the same problem. I have found all those location diagrams for Darts, but with out the hole on the bracing on the '70s it makes it hard to know...

    Paint and body help please!!!!

I am new to painting, but I have been using the stuff from TCPglobal.com and it has been great. They seem to be good knowledgeable people and the shipping is always super fast and the prices are reasonable. I have also dealt with NAPA they carry the Sherwin Williams stuff out here in CA.

    New Painter Question

Thanks for all the great info. I have the car disassembled right now. And I primed all the parts seperately. Is it OK to paint the car in pieces or is better to do it as an entire unit? I was thinking of maybe spraying the parts individually with color then assembling the car, doing another...

    New Painter Question

I did use there primers as well. I used the DTM epoxy primer/sealer. It seemed to be easy enough to work with and covered well. If you are a SOCAL local you can usually catch them at the Long Beach Show near the airport, and save a little $$ off the website price!
