I’m trying to make a street/strip build had another 360 with eagle rods and KB flat top pistons I think that was .30over and one of the rod bolts broke on me so I decided to buy a block from someone who had stock rods and crank and I just need the pistons to finish the rotating assembly

Would I have to call for them to make it for me or would I be able to order them right on summit?

Not sure if the chamber size all I know is there J heads do have pictures of the numbers in the head

Yes and I have lifters and a stock cam shaft which if I went with the hydraulic roller set up I’d probably change to something similar I had on my flat tappet set up

Have the lifters that came out of 89 block but that’s about it would need to buy cam push rods,etc

Can you please explain how is it a plus? Wouldn’t I have to replace cam lifters and everything to fit a roller cam

Had a 74 360 running good but unfortunately it threw a rod and now I’m back to rebuilding and bought an 89 block without knowing that’s it’s a hydraulic roller cam instead of flat tappet now I was just looking to know if and how I can use the flat tappet cam,lifters etc from my 74 in my 89 block...

I’m not asking for bolt by bolt directions but what would I have to take out to get the torsion bar out without fighting it too much? I bought the firm feel 1.12 bars which I’m pretty sure you have to pair with those I got hotchkis struts and hopefully if they become available sometime soon...
