does this sound right? seven bolts for the water pump and five different lengths? did some one use whatever was around or should there be this many different bolts? thnxs

this may be a little basic, but I'd rather ask the question than find out the hard way. installing a new water pump on my 273 and the old bolts are pretty crappy, anything special about thes bolts? as long as the threads and sizes match.

that is the whole thing, it fits into the hole in the body and you push the prongs of the emblem into this thing that grabs the prong. I looked through that website but not knowing the name leaves alot of pages to view. thanks for your help

I'm looking for some of these things for the GT emblem, they fit into a 11/64 ths hole in the car. If I knew what to call them, finding some would be easier. This one is off my '62 chevy truck and is a bit larger than what I need Thanks for any help

I have a tear about 5" long in the headliner of my 64 dart would like to stop it and close it up not ready to replace it. looks as though the front and back windows need to come out? anybody have a better suggestion than duct tape?

thanks redfish, slept on it and took a good look at the regulator. it's covered with thick paint and the only contact was a small nick where the bolt went through. skuffed it up a bit and reinstalled, works great. thanks again! now for funner projects

yes I have power on the large red wire. is there a way to test regulator? what should it being outputing to field connections? hate to just buy new parts and hope that works thank you for the help

thinking more about this. even if the regulator is bad or even disconnected shouldn't there be an output voltage from the alt.? with car off I get around 12 vdc at the bat. post on the alt.. with car running the voltage is the same, running on battery. bad alt. out of the box?

yep, I have two field wires and tey are wired like the diagram posted before. More background. thought alt. was bad got new one for 64 Dart, hooked two field wires up thought that one was kind of weird, should have stoped, started car, burned up wires, bad short, replaced wires, got correct alt...
