Not sure, it’s an after market from lares 11033. I think it might be a sticky valve. I watched the video link above in the thread. Great video btw. I called lares. Waiting to hear back.

Hey Fam, I have a dilemma. I replaced my steering box in my 68 Dart. Flushed the pump before install. Now the steering is tight while centered. No assistance at all until quarter turn left or right. Then the wheel runs from me. Turns on its own. It’s like my car is possessed . Anyone else...

Does anyone know the proper dust cap size or part number for a 1968 Dart 270, 9” brakes /6? Lost one on the road and don’t want to get the garbage ones that fall off all the time. Thanks Fam. Dave

I had no idea they did that, good to know.

Hit or miss at RA. I ordered a set of drums for my Dart, did the brakes but didn’t drive the car till a year later. Realized one of the drums hd a big crack in it. Too late for recourse. Inspect your parts thoroughly. Received other parts that were just fine.

3” exhaust is overkill for the 318, you won’t get the proper scavenging effect and actually might be losing power. Carb, intake, cam , exhaust, etc. must match to make a good formula. Bigger isn’t always better if disproportionate.

I had a 68 Charger that floated. The stock steering box had play that couldn’t be adjusted out. Make sure your box is tight.

Hey Fam, After a year on the jackstands, finally took her around the block for a quick shakedown. New brakes , frontend, shocks, and bushings. And an oil pan gasket to boot(done in the car) . The guys on this forum have been awesome. Thanks for all the help. Now time to work out the gremlins...
