Next I removed the diff and front suspension and crossmember to put it up on the rotisserie only to find more rust in the chassis rail around the steering box area (common problem). So I got it up on the rotisserie and decided before I cut the rust out of the rail that I would weld a support...

All up so far it's taken me about 300 hours, I did say earlier up this page that I'm going for a mild 318/904 combo, you must've missed it in amongst all the pics. lol.

Replacement outer dogleg panel welded in place. Stripped and ready for filler. Bodyfilled and hi-filled.

I have a 318/904 combo for it. I'm actually doing this project for my wife to drive so she can become more involved in our club and the chrysler community in general.

All replaced panels finished off........... Stay tuned for the boot (trunk) gutter and boot floor repairs.

Another installment for you guys and gals. The following pics are of the rear windscreen frame which has been marked out to show a fellow "hemi6pack forum" member here in Oz where to cut the donor panels I needed. Donor sections arrive from my mate in Alice Springs.

Yeah guys the donor (green) car was a very solid sedan and the plenum, door hinge pillars and front windscreen frames are the same as the coupe. The sedan floor however was longer and I had to trim 150mm off the rear floor area to make it fit but you'd never know it was a sedan floor unless you...

More pics. Spot welding the donor section in place. Fully welded and finished with the grinder. New top in place This area also took me approximately 60 hours to repair.

Donor floor pans sandblasted and fitted. Floorpan finished and rustproofed. All up this took me 60 hours to remove the old rusty floor and unpick and fit the donor sections and rustproof.
