How much was the Redline conversion, and how does the shipping work? I was trying to get away without spending the money for that but I may end up deciding to just do it.

Yes, that's where it goes, I had gotten the Sunpro stated above because others have suggested it, but it is way to small for that spot. Mine has a blank in that hole that's why I want to use it so I don't have to do any major modifications elsewhere.

Where did you find that gauge? And what size is it. I have a rallye dash and the hole is 2.75. Haven't found a gauge to fit yet.

I have a 68 barracuda notchback, paint code LL-1 surf turquoise. Can anyone tell me how to determine from the fender tag or the broadcast sheet if it originally came with the white stripes at the bottom I see in many photos of them.

I am going with a new wiring harness from classic industries, it is supposed to match up to the stock system except for the ammeter issue. Hopefully I will be able to figure it all out. Its a long term ground up project so I can take my time and study things out as I go

That looks great, I will probably still use the blank hole for the voltmeter and leave the ammeter unhooked. But if I did do what you did it would allow me to put a tach in the blank hole.I will have to do some serious looking at it and study everyone's comments before I decide how to do it

Thanks for the info, I think I found my solution. On my 68 it has a blank gauge hole where the performance indicator is on my 67. I can put a voltmeter in there without having to mount on somewhere else

I am getting ready to order a wiring harness kit for my 68 barracuda. I am finding out I need to change from an ammeter to a voltmeter. How do I do that while keeping the stock gauge and have it read correctly

I understand that the original color for the 318 in a 68 barracuda was red. Is there a specific red that was used and is it easy to find. The engine I have is a 70 so its a different color but I want to make it look as close to original as I can when I put it back together.

On the front of my 67 there are individual letters spelling out plymouth that go all the way across the front of the hood. My 68 is different and has what you say, that will be easy. Its the one with the individual letters I am not sure how to do.

Yes it is a stock color, 1968 code LL1 surf turquoise. I have one with that code, a long way from paint but I am going to go back to the original, I like it.

Exactly, that's where I found it. Also found one in a spare seat that came with the deal but it was in a bunch of tiny pieces and wasn't usable.
