Looks like if I run the aluminum heads I can’t run the stock valve train set up???

Looks like I may be better off just getting a set of remanufactured heads or new heads if I can find them that are iron and upgrading the valve springs so I can run a bigger cam. The build nots gonna be radical.

The iron heads SpeedMaster has are bare. Was wanting to get a set ready to go I know they would need checked. Could I run the aluminum heads on a setup like this? Would I have to use a different rocker set up?

I would basically be running a stock 5.9 Mag with a cam upgrade and convert to carb. So stock valve train.

Is there a certain head I should choose? Can I run the stock rocker setup?

Does Speed Master make heads for the Magnum motors? I’m looking on there web site so I may find them. Do they come with upgraded valve springs? What are some opinions on them? Looking to put a set on a stock short block and install bigger cam and there intake. Thanks

I have a 5.2 Mag in my Dakota and was looking to swap a carbed 5.9 Mag in it. But I think I will probably pass on this and pick up a core and get the Black Friday deal on the intake.

Said it also has a Edelbrock Air-Gap intake

He is asking $1000. Said it would come with everything except carb. Also an extra 5.9 Mag would be included- that one is supposed to be bone stock. I’m looking for something to throw into my 92 Dakota. But I may be better off to keep looking or just pick up a good core and go from there

I was offered the opportunity to buy this 5.9 Mag motor that has been swapped to a carb. The owner said it has a lower end noise and in the video you can see the damper moving. Would this be the thrust bearing? Any ideas what could be going on with this? Thanks

I have a 92 Dodge Dakota extended cab with a 5.2. It has the OD tranny and is rwd. Has 3.55 gears but those are going to be getting swapped out to 4.10s. Also has a limited slip. My questions are has anybody used these cams on Ebay? | eBay as you can see he has a huge selection for the Magnum...
