Latter model police pursuit 440 HP engines have that passenger side manifold. I have two of them 77 & 78 440HP. The stamp pad on top of the engine could confirm. They're still not super exciting engines at around 255hp but better than the 190hp civilian 440s of the same era.

Could be a police pursuit 440. Could know more if you can get the info off the top pad in front of the intake manifold.

This is a speedmaster i bought during their black friday sale. Wasn't impressed with the banana shaped ports and staggered ports. I don't know if they sell rejects for black friday. Sent it back.

Thanks guys. Figured that might be the case. Didn't want to spray atf all over the engine bay and their driveway so i didn't attempt to start it.

Looking at a 2001 ram 1500 with a 5.9 magnum and blown transmission. I'm only interested in the engine. The owner put a new radiator (red flag) but didn't attach the transmission cooler lines. Looks like a fitting issue. If i start it up, will it spray tranmission fluid out of the cooler lines...

I think i might have one from a 67 Coronet 318 LA. Do you know if the main compressor pulley or clutch have to come off to get the bracket out?

I get that the intake will probably work. It just bugs me the gasket is going to be blocking sections of the port. I read it was bad when the intake port is bigger than the port on the head. I have a felpro 5.9 magnum gasket and an old 318 metal gasket. I plan on using this on a yet to be had...

I guess i was thinking the ports would be more uniform. I had higher expectations for a normally $300 dollar intake.
