The dash vents are chromed metal on the 1967-1970 cars I’ve seen. You have the plastic ones. There is a rubber piece of trim around the outside of the metal ones in the 1968 photo

I’ve seen that trim on all the 68’s with air I’ve seen so far. I wonder why they didn’t keep the lower dash trim and ac trim for the subsequent models. I think it looks nice.
