No, it is not Butterscotch.... Butterscotch is a Dodge color. This is Bahama Yellow. There was not "just a number bluttered out" You would have to see the car in person to understand that $40 is a good starting point.

Right now there is a Wizard Cooling rad on the car with 7 blade fan. We have tired 3 different rad,3 different thermostats, 3 different fans, and YES, it does have a fan shroud. It is a 340 Stock motor.

Getting hot in stop "n" go traffic, getting to 210-220. We have tired 3 different temp gauges and have also checked it with an infared gauge...... all get same results. Only about 15 degrees cooler coming out of rad than going in.

Does anyone have any info on a Wizard Cooling radiator???? I need help getting my car to run cooler and was wondering if it might be the rad. , have tired everything else.... hubby if geting tired of me complaining about this!!!

Well, the mystery of the non-fitting headliner has been solved!!! According to Year One, we ordered the wrong headliner. They said that the headliner we ordered was for a 73-76 Duster- we intended to order for a 72-76. However, the 75 parts car we have has the exact same measurements as the 71...

New headliner is not too long, just too wide and the biggest problem is that the pre-cut "holes" for the sun-visors and dome light do not match up with the measurements of the car. Sadly, we did not keep the old headliner. This head-liner was shipped rolled-up, not flat.

Well, Sunday has come and gone and we are no closer to getting the ABS Plastic, cloth covered, headliner to fit into the 72 Duster than we were last week! We have done every measurement we can possibly do - - we measured the distance between sun-visor bolts in our 71 Duster and the 72 Duster...

Spoke to Year One this morning. We were right in the fact that the ABS Plastic (cloth cover) headliner does come pre-trimmed. All we can figure now is that we need a little more muscle power to get it fitted in there. Will be posting results of project along with any tips for doing this as soon...

:dontknow: Just my opinion, of course, but I guess that is what you were asking for - Since you will probably re-paint the hood anyway - I still think you would be happier with the Organasol Paint from Year One. When we first purchased our 1971 Duster, whoever painted it had used the Flat Black...

The best thing you can do is repaint the hood. You need to use Organasol Paint from Year One. It is the original paint that came on the 1971 Duster. It has a slight texture to it that keeps it looking great! The paint is a little pricey but well worth it!!!
