Thet transmission is in the car and its back on the road!!!, while i was in there I put a new transmission mount in as well and also put a new 1800-2200 stall converter in.

Well good news!, the car is no longer for sale, after listing it then running into complications with the transmission I finally said screw it, pulled the tranny and am having it rebuilt completely. The shop is going to put in redline clutches and kevlar bands I also bought a Turbo Action...

pull the mount off, put your foot up against the back of it then hammer the arched area flat, I have the same tach in my dart and bolted mine to my AC vents in the same area you did yours, its mounted flush! Just a little tip 8) Shawn

It's not to dificult, what i do is clamp the ring to a project table i have, theres a cut for a file in the table, i clamp the ring aligned with the cut and file like that it files even every time!
