    Swinger front end on duster

I always wanted to put a 70-71 dart front end on a 69 dart. Love the later grille and the early tail panel.

    Metal Building/ Garage…

When I built my 30x50 I asked for no end walls. I then had a friend who did metal studs come and build them to my exact specs. I too went with two roll ups and find it very useful. I did consider one long roll up but my friends in construction talked me into the two. I do wish I had gone with a...

Did they make 5x4” axles for 8 3/4 rear ends?

Memories Back in the 80s when we wanted to put an 8-3/4 rear with the LBP, large brakes and discs up front we used the rear out of the 66-67 b-body and a-arms/discs from the 73 and up a-bodies. The 8-3/4 a-body rears were expensive and as noted had the SBP. The 66-67 b-body rears were roughly...

Nice! Similar interior as my 68 Coronet 500, dark green dash and white buckets. Got the wood wheel also.

Me too especially the 500 and R/T. I always thought they looked like jet engines. Which is why I finally settled on my 500 vert.

1967 Barracuda - Very original - in Seattle -NOT MINE

I’m in Shelton, WA near Olympia the capitol. Years ago I bought a rolling project 68 that came from TX with a bill of sale. It is a complete 6cyl/auto car that wasn’t running. It was for my grandson but after we disassembled it, he lost interest (kids:BangHead:). So I’m going to sale it this...

    I currently have my 68 Coronet 500 vert, 68 Barracuda Coupe and 79 Ford F-150. I’ve owned a number of brands but for Mopar, 67 Coronet 440 vert, 67 Coronet 440 2-dr HT, 71 Dart Swinger, 74 Dart 4-door, and 69 Chrysler Newport 440 2-dr. Drove a new Ram TRX today !!!

It’s so sad, in the latest 70s my brother bought a new fully loaded 79 F250 4x4 and he drove that truck everywhere as most truck owners did. Trucks weren’t so costly in comparison to the costs of a high end car. Why is there such a spread in cost between cars and trucks now? Makes no sense to me.

Drove a new Ram TRX today !!!

Nothing worse than being unable to roll down a window when electrical problems rear their ugly head. Years ago I wanted a commuter so I ordered a Neon with every option except power windows. The salesman looked at me like I made a mistake.

    Engine flush... Yes or No???

I’ve used Bell Labs fuel products since the 80s and they rock. They have been around since 1927. I just placed an order for the Ethanol Defense and got some engine oil flush for the first time. I just posted this detailed thread in FBBO. Bell Labs Fuel Treatments - Anyone else using them...

    Parts Prices, WTF?!

Yikes! Is that what they are going for now! Time to buy two single ones and robbed the snorkel off one to put on the other, the way we would do in the 80s if we couldn’t find one.

    Which 8.25 do I have?

Found this; It looks to be a 69-70 B-body from this info but the lengths don't seem right. Could the pumpkin have been swapped? http://www.drivinithome.com/rear-axle-identification/

    Which 8.25 do I have?

We are swapping out the front drum brakes and rear end on our 68 slant six cuda with the 4" bolt pattern for disc brakes out of a 73 Dart with the 4.5" pattern. We swapped the front brake parts today and it is back on some 15" stock Coronet wheels. Our next step is to swap in a 8.25 rear...

[WANTED] 68 Barracuda NB roof and upper quarter

My grandson just turned 15 and got a summer job. I'm giving him my 1968 Barracuda coupe/notchback and we are going to restore it. The car was perfectly straight and solid until we had a heavy snow collapsed our steel carport onto it. It held many snows until this freak storm that just kept...

I own a 68 notchback which I prefer also. When it comes to the FBs I think it's the choice of color that either attracts me to them or not. I don't seem to like them in the light colors. However you paint them very dark blue, racing green or the best, black, and I love em. That is one...

Yes it's Lantz Newberry. Mom liked the name and only knew the "Walter Lantz" of Woody Woodpecker fame's spelling of it. Girls sure like the spelling. ; )

    1968 A-Body suspension question?

Just curious why would you not want them? Regardless, if they've never been damaged I would possibly be interested in them if they work with my application. It just dawned on me, my car is a slant six car which I believe has a different k-member then the V8s. Would this prevent a stock...

    1968 A-Body suspension question?

The Wilwood caliper and adapter setup cures the swaybar clearance issue. http://www.moparaction.com/Tech/archive/disc-calipers.html Considering this is a slant six auto car that will be a daily driver I think the 8.75 rear would be overkill and expension. That 8 1/4 73 and later sounds...

    1968 A-Body suspension question?

(1.) I just bought a 1968 barracuda and was going to switch to disc brakes. I got the setup from a 74 Dart. While at it I wanted to swap the non-tabbed lower control arms for some "tabbed" LCA so that I could add a stock sway bar. When looking in my 1968 parts manual there isn't one listed for...

    Replace 68 Cuda fuel tank w/68 Coronet's?

Hello All, I'm new to the board and just bought a 68 barracuda notchback with slant six/auto that I will be fixing up to eventually become my daily driver. I'm going to be doing a little customizing to the vehicle. The car hasn't arrived from TX yet and so I can't compare the floor pan and...
