    No, i know the diffrence between an open unit and a suregrip. But i want to know the diffrence between the spicer, track lock one with only visibel gears and the other one that i dont know the name on, that got springs in the opening.

    I am going to put a surgrip and 3:55 or 3:91 gears in my Duster. When i started to search the e-bay for a unit i noted that ther is two kinds. One with visible springs and one thats got only gears in it. Witch one to prefere? //Henrik

    Problem solved!! I tried to reposition the tv-cable further away from the pivot point on the carburetor. The reson was to receive a quicker motion on the wire. that helped, i got the kick down back. Then i put it back on the original position, and drilled a new hole on the lever on the...

    Thanks fellas, i will try to adjust the line pressure. and if that´s not solving my problem the transmission will be rebuild this winter. i´ll make sure to replace the valve springs. It´s a real asset to have you out there!

    Thank you tekslk, but i tension´d it so when i reached WOT the transmission lever also was as far as it could, and than lacking of a little at the time. i never had the kick down to work.
