    That is not exactly a bad problem to have. It really just means that your engine is sealed very well. Check your breather and PCV valve, but like stated it is just crankcase vacuum.

    Probably only cause a miniscule loss in bottom end power. You could probably overcome that loss with a decent torque converter.

    Oil pump priming rod ? ..

    If you are good with a welder you can use an old oil pump drive with the gear cut off and weld a short 3/8's extension on it. then it can be driven with a 3/8's air ratchet and works very well if you weld it straight.
