I'm replacing my original 2 speed OEM wiper switch ( broken) with a Painless unit. I'm assuming ...W =washer B=Power. So does 1 =Park 2=Low and 3=High. If so how does the switch earth??. The original had a tang on the side which earthed onto the dash

In the process of installing an EZ wiring harness and am a little confused. Instructions say no earth wires are provided in the harness, and yet I see there is a black wire marked FAN GROUND, coming from the fuse panel. Could someone point me in the right direction here. Thanks in advance

According to a local car club guru who I bumped into today, and who has wired a few cars withEZ wiring looms, The FAN FAN wire is as Gryzynx suggested ..the fan switch activator and the AC/HEAT POWER is to power an aircon/heater unit . Thanks for that

Ok thanks Pompis....EZ wiring tech finally picked up this morning and says that black wire is for GM cars only...Yes it just connects to the red wire on the switch Cheers

On the EZ wiring harness,at the end of the Red Ignition switch power wire , there is a small length of black wire spliced in to it. Assuming this is an earth wire?? if it is , does it have to be used or does the switch housing unit provide its own earth??? Thanks Bruce
