Some pretty ingenious ideas in this thread. I machined a V, down the middle, the length of two 4x6x1 1/4" blocks of aluminum, then drilled and tapped for four 3/8 bolts, one on each corner. It works well, but was a lot more trouble than some of these ideas.

I would say yes to the first part of your question. My convertible has them, and so did my Hemi Road Runner. I think someone is reproducing them, but not aware of anyone making their own.

K members are the same, but the best option to extend the steering shaft, since the manual box is shorter, is to buy the Flaming River extension. That is what I have.

You would be using a very small part of the after market tub, and they are round. I know mine were fricken HUGE, and the mini tub I did, was pretty small by comparison, and not perfectly round. Maybe cut some out of a junk car? The factory sheet metal is better anyway. Just a thought.

Those polys were nice, but I think they discontinued them, right? On my last two, I just burned the rubber out, then chizzeled the inner metal piece out. It is a war, a war I don't want to do again, ever.
