Yes I was told that they should flow around 295-297 max flow and that's at .550 and 600 lift.

I race my dart and run high 12's with my 318.

Around here they street race every weekend! they do it at a industrial park. No one is allowed to watch in front of the cars only behind. I would never do it with the track only 25 miles away! Then you can have your time slips tell the story!

I have $2000 in my 318 and it runs just find. It can be done but you don't seem to understand.

I was just joking but I think a 318 is good motor just like 340 and 360 they are still mopar motors and thats all that matters.

I am tired of poeple bad mouthing 318's saying it takes too much $$$ to make it worth while. Well it doesn't take much. Maybe if poeple knew how to think and build engines then we wouldn't be talking about this just my 2 cents. 318's rule 360's drule!

I would run 360 heads milled with kb399 pistons. I run these heads and a pistons with a 488/510 234/244. Air gap 650 holley dp. I have about $2200 into my engine. Its in a dart it weighs 3400 with me in it. I have 4.10 gears with 3500 stall and run 12.9 at 103. So it doesn't take a lot of cash...

I run a spool and 4.10 gears and love it. I just take wide turns when driving on the street.

My dad has a pretty close combo in is dart but it's a 360. only difference is he runs a 750 vs. my 650 holley. hes got 3.91 gears other than that we are about same on combos. He runs 12.80's with his combo.

Went to the the local track this past weekend with my dart. I ran a 12.90@103 mph. My previous best was 12.95@102 mph. I needed to jet the carb up more but forgot my jet kit. So there is still more in my 318. Thought I would share this with you.
