2006 dodge 3.3 timing chain slop.

Put the new timing chain in. I know of the same loose timing chain issue on a caravan. Recommendation was only drive it back and forth to work 4 blocks away. Their kids took it on a road trip to Duluth MN on I-35w, 70+ miles per hour. Blew the timing chain half way there, had to leave the van...

    408 Magnum stroker HEAD HELP!

They have been on the car for 2 years and have had no issues. I’ve gotten several comments on how quiet the run. I’m guessing that I’m in the 450 hp range

Oops, the wife just texted that I was lucky to come hone when I did. The music wasn't fun to listen to. She said she should have came home with me. LOL

Definitely the caddy, some might thing I’m crazy but I never saw the attraction of the Rolls, just not good looking cars, imo.

How much would you pay for this 340?

it's not necessarily scrap, but economy starts to become a factor as well as limits of the block-- taper, strength, heat control, etx. sure you could sleeve it off, but that's another 1K on top of whatever else you need. i'd consider going to 60 on a stock or very close to stock rebuild, but...

    pivot ball dust seals

ok guys what is the trick to getting the rubber dust seals over the pivot balls. I tried soaking them in hot water to try and soften them up no help. I tried using a socket that fit over the pivot ball but that didn't work either.

I put the Eldelbrock Rpm heads on my 408 and they work great. They use sbc rockers and they have the push rod length already figured out.

[FOR SALE] FEDERAL Power Steering Pump Pulley.

I appreciate the response. Here is why I ask… I have one pulley where the hex is flush and my belt alignment is not working. The pulley grove is out too far on the pump. The other one (which is what I’m looking for) has the hex protruding and brings the pulley grove closer to the pump. I hope...

Dads Hemi Roadrunner finally making it to the track. I know not an A-body but it’s still exciting.

Thank you! Yes we know Rick well, and he was in attendance for the oil filter episode. Very scary experience. Luckily my dad got back in the car, and drove it like he stole it. Couldn’t be more happy for him or proud of him for getting back in that car.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

Went downtown to listen to a band. Met the neighbors down there. I'm not a big fan of sitting up too close. The thumping drives me nuts and my ears are ringing. I'm getting old I guess. I came home and the wife can come home with the neighbors. Her suggestion. Smart gal. LOL

How much would you pay for this 340?

If it's already .060 over and has too much taper you are unlikely to be able to bore any farther without issues as the cylinder walls start to get real thin. The only one I would buy is the original block for my wife's GTS and that would be just to have it.

    Member’s 1968 GT "personalization".

On my b body Mopar the sway bar hangs below the tab. But the weird thing with this bar is that it is shaped for this position. If it was down, the cross over would be leaning towards the k-member? It is perfectly straight where it sits.

    Voltage limiter

The voltage limiter feeds the fuel and the temp gauge. It's only a matter if it is attached to either first. I believe 64 is fuel and the temp later 65/66 limiter feeds temp first and then fuel. Regardless your (I assume light) oil gauge is separate. I rebuilt a 64 cluster with an electronic...
