For sure it needs lowering. Remember the other point I tried getting across. The common wall slants in, the roof slants down, and the floor slopes up. Each of those areas plus the pushrod side wall has to be worked.

Just a heads up on that Cold Case radiator, if you get the same one I did, 756A, it is a 1/2" thicker, so 3 1/2" rather than 3", than their site lists due to the front of the brackets not being flush with the core. Also had to massage the brackets slightly to clear the bolts for the A/C...
