    Air Shocks

I've go Hijackers on my Dart Sport, and it rides just fine. Only run about 30 lbs. just to level it out.

    Air shock options

Gabriel's on mine too. I need new springs, but this was a quick easy way to lift it a little. 30-40 lbs. and it rides just fine.

    Horrible News!

I have been told this is pretty common. Had to have a crack welded on mine. Friend of mine use to run a front end shop, and said he did several.

    Let's talk subs....

I have a set for my Duster. (If I ever get to it) My plans are far a stroked 360, 4 speed, .373's. I've always subscribed to the theory of, better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

    Air shocks..why?

Have a set of Gabriel Hi-Jackers on mine. Just run enough air in them, to keep the car leveled out. Mine rides just fine. Sure, run too much air, and they will ride rough.

Converting to manual steering - Who has done it?

Same here. Sport is power, duster is manual. Much prefer the manual. But as you say,to each his own. :coffee:

Frontend rebuild on a 73 Dart Sport 340

Check Mancini Racing's online catalog. Pretty good price, and hard to beat Moog.

To Power, or not to Power...

I have one of each. Power is nice on the Sport, but Duster drives fine without it. Also less stuff under the hood to work around. Believe I'll leave it that way.

    Lower control arm

Hey de69cuda,I think Jim was talking about the guy that looked at my car,not you. I appreciate everyones input. I'm looking into the tools from Mancini, and I have access to a press. I'm also probably going to get the whole front end rebuild kit from them . $229,if you order it online...

    front end kits

The Mancini ad says Moog parts. All above in parts list $289. (Go to Mancini online-$249) Friend of mine, worked as a front end man in a shop for years, thinks TRW now owns Moog. Not sure on that. Could be reason one says Moog, other TRW.

    front end kits

My Mopar Action mag. has a Mancini Racing ad,and Pst. The Moog from Mancini,is $289,($40 more than PST's polygraphite,$90 more than oem.). IMO,I'd spend the extra, and get Moog. That's just me. (Also,PST's,says most models,so who knows about a-bodies,without confirming?)

    Lower control arm

How tough to change out lower control arm bushing on a '73 Dart Sport? Front end out of allignment,(and won't stay in)and that's all we can find wrong. Front end guy say's he does'nt have the tools to work on it. Young guy, never worked on torsion bar suspension. Any suggestions.
