I'm not putting everything back together. I was just wondering what should everythign be torqued to? Mainly the upper ball joint, and the nuts that attach the balljoints to the spindles. Also, should i put red or blue loctite on the balljoint nuts? Thanks, Daryl

after beating the thing with the pickle fork for a little over an hour i gave up on it

no, I just hit on one side at a time, and then from the top down with the lower control arm supported so that it couldnt move down when i hit it

none in stock at the store, bought some propane for my torch.....still didnt work.

no so I should leave it the spindle connected up top, unload the torsion bar, and disconnect the lower balljoint from the spindle?

72 D A R T......I was told to load up the torsion bar(turn all the way clockwise) and beat on the bottom ball joint with a few turns off of the nut that goes on it. The shock is disconnected too. This is not working at all. Anyone have any tips or can tell me what i'm doing wrong. Trying...

I just replaced all of my tie rod ends and adjusted my torsion bars on the car, so the alignment is pretty out of whack. The local alignment shop says that they need the "specs" in order to align it because they do not have them. I was just wondering what it is that they are referring to...

i have the chassis engineering weld ins that fit right up to the subframes. i still have to put them in, but it looks like i just have to clean the metal, and then weld them on three sides.
