Is there a vacuum line off the intake manifold/carb. that connects the transmission? I thought it just has throttle and gearshift linkage.

Ya you are right about the area to mount the cooler not much room. After I fabricate the bracket mounts for the cooler I would like to use some of the existing holes in the radiator panel to run the lines. Also going to try metal tubing first. See what happens

I'm going to reinstall a trans. cooler in 68 Barracuda. The previous owner had mounted the cooler on the front side of the radiator behind the front grill. The existing trans. lines were cut to connect the hoses to the cooler. The cut/connection was down around the base of the radiator. Anyways...

Makes since put in the same amount of oil I drained out back into the converter. Thanks

Just had the transmission rebuilt 727A and I drained the old oil out of the converter about 1 quart. Do I need to add any new oil into the converter before install to the transmission or just add oil to the transmission only and allow the converter to fill. I just can't rember thanks chris
