Since I'm going with a b-body rear now, I'll just use the stock b-body axle shafts until the break(if they break) and then I'll get some aftermarket ones.

You have a good point. I'd only be interested in the ones that don't taper. Although I thinking about buying a set of stange or moser axles.

Yeah, I thought about going with aftermaket axles ($215 at Moser) but believe that I'll go with the c-body axles. I've read that in an A-body they're almost indestrctible due to their thicker diameter.

Does any body have a pair of c-body axles (uncut) they'll sale for $50 bucks? I'm only interested in C-Body axles. I want to have them cut and replined for an 8 3/4 rearend that I'm building for my Duster. Thanks

I think that I'll just have mine cut and rebalanced. I'll have to change out my yoke and u jointsbut I believe that this is the best bet. Thanks

One question. My car has a 904 in it. Would your 727 shaft work in my 904 trans? You know, I'm thinking that the shaft is not going to fit due to the 727 being a little longer than the 904.
