    Hemi, I bought a pair from YearOne which are halogen but look like the original 7 inch ones. I don't recall the price but they're great after dark; really light up the road.

    Gauges Peg Max

    My temperature gauge started doing that the other day; pegging out at high temp reading when I turned the ignition switch on a stone cold engine. Everything else is fine, so I must have a short somewhere.

    We used to have to replace them every couple of winters when we were driving those cars because of the salt and moisture trapped down there. Pretty simple to do.

    I dealt with him (Don) in the chat/texting function of their website and he was a pleasure to deal with. I just bought their mini-starter to go with my new TTI headers & exhaust system, and their alternator (in chrome, of course) is next. Thanks for the post; good to see the product.

    over charging regulator issue

    My ($50.00 replacement cost) Regulator fried my $350.00 stereo in my '71 Dart. Was a quick lesson in the importance of checking electrical system parts when things aren't going just right. I had the same headlight strength fluctaution with engine speed and wound up replacing the alternator...

    trying to be safe

    When mine's parked (always in the garage) I have the Battery Tender hooked up to it, charging the battery. Never have had a problem with it.
