I had to beat a dent into mine to get it to clear. I put masking tape, marked with a sharpy, beat it with a hammer. Engine, master cylinder, steering column, headers ect in the way. So much fun. Mine still contacts inner fender a bit but it fits.
This is how my bracket and up stop bumper looks installed in car. Its a '69 that used to be auto brake pedal with reproduction clutch brake pedals put into auto pedal bracket. But original auto pedal bracket had the hole for the clutch up stop bumper already in it.
Pull clutch pedal out of bracket and reinsert with lever on other side of the brackets stop. Then clutch pedal can be pushed down toward floor and not swing up toward driver.
Bump stop is supposed to be when foot off of clutch pedal and clutch pedal extended up toward driver rear ward if you will. So if you push clutch in, take foot off clutch pedal, and pedal snaps back up lever hits up stop bumper so no metal to metal bang sound will occur.
4 door 2 door 108 or 111 wheel base '67 - '76 all the same except drive shaft length. Minor difference across years like pedal style diff on later models ect diff style shift handle but other then that same parts. Want 4 spd in 4 door you are golden on parts availability.
You can't adjust where clutch pedal stops when its all the way released because the steel lever hits the rubber bumper. If you want clutch and brake pedals same height you can get different length brake rod that goes from brake pedal into master cylinder.
Silver Sport has a work sheet in the link below you fill out and submit. They want initial reading, offset dowels used, orientation of offset dowels, and final readings:

It AP shifter is designed to move the shift handle attachment location. The shifter also provides shorter throws compared to the standard Magnum shifter:
I am going to get an American Powertrain offset shifter which will move the shift handle attach point forward. Then the original style factory console shifter handle slopes forward before it bends over and back. I also have to cut weld base of reproduction console shift handle which gives me...
I believe the base of the console has to be trimmed on passenger's side to clear the cross member to get it to sit exactly in its original location. However the trimming of the console base would be hidden by the carpet that wraps around the console. Another option is to have the console sit...
I am in the process of swapping in a T56 Magnum Silver Sport kit with the goal of a factory 4 spd console look. Here I have the ToddRod cross member welded in with the console sitting on the factory console brackets. My car was originally a auto trans. I will have to cut/weld the base of the...
The shifter mechanism that bolts to the trans is two bolts for the handle. Console and non-console cars had the same shifter mechanism bolted to the trans just different shift handles. Brewers sells reproduction console shift handles Brewer's Performance - Mopar A833 4-Speed Transmission and...
Yeah quality of the SST pedals is top notch they say they make them in house. Brewers has reproduction pedals too but if you are going hydraulic prob best to go with SST and get matched components. Brewers also sells pedal pivot bearings but the plastic bushings in the SST pedals seem like...
I bought the Silver Sport pedals they are very well made (I added the bezels). They can sell you the hydraulic clutch setup too. If you call them up tell them what you want they will hook you right up.
Vendors such as Silver Sport or American Drivetrain could sell you a master/slave/line/mount kit. If you call them up they could probably sell you matched components.
I just bought the reproduction console handle from Brewers. No Hurst logo but it is a very nice piece. Also bought the console top plate and rubber boot. Top plate is nice but the console door is warped bad casting won't line up so will have to call them about that. But front console plate 4...
I have seen some TKX reviews on youtube where guys swapped into Fox Mustangs and show test driving and providing impressions of how it shifts. Not a Mopar but same trans and seems to be highly praised in terms of shift quality.
8k for parts? Which transmission was that for TKX, T56, or something else? Ppl on here 6 or so months back were getting quotes in the 6k range for TKX auto to manual kits. Prices have gone up 2k since then?
