My local parts counter told me about them, but I never bought them. These may be them: http://www.carid.com/1968-plymouth-barracuda-suspension-systems/energy-suspension-tie-rod-and-ball-joint-boots-11090181.html I suspect a local parts counter could get them cheaper. If you buy some...

I don't think you can slip the wheel over the caliper.

I'm not an expert on the potential difference between the two MC part numbers you list. Ask your parts counter guy. IF the only difference in the bore size, most guys think the smaller bore works better to give slightly less pedle effort. I'm also not sure how to answer your pushrod question...

Kelsey Hayes rotors WITHOUT need for hubs? Ebay item NOT mine

Sorry, I didn't know they had been discussed. I'm surprised I hadn't seen them in all my past Kelsey Hayes searching.

Kelsey Hayes rotors WITHOUT need for hubs? Ebay item NOT mine

I just saw these on Ebay. Anybody have any knowledge about them? I'm not interested as I have hubs and they seem VERY expensive. But, I do believe there are people trying to go to 5 x 4 disk brakes and can't find the hubs…...

    Kelsey Hayes 4 piston discs

Raybestos Master cylinder (#MC36406) Do a FABO search for that Part. You will find many who have success with that part, including myself. It is 15/16 bore. My brakes work great with minimal pressure - manual brakes. Are you running power brakes or manual?

All A-body such as Valiants, Plymouth Dusters, Dodge Darts, early 'Cudas, etc., were offered with Kelsey-Hayes fixed-caliper disc brakes from 1965 through 1972. More commonly found on the V8 cars. More info: http://www.allpar.com/history/mopar/disc-brakes.html

All the part number and prices are in original post. I paid $52 for rotors, they can be had for $45 on ebay.

You might be correct. As they say, time will tell. But I doubt it will be a problem. The caliper is very snug. If the two bolts are torqued to the same pressure, I'm not sure why the shoulder of the factory bolt would provide any additional fastening strength. I'm pretty obsessive when it...

Proportioning valve -and disk brake upgrade, please help

Yep, you are right again! I'm embarrassed that the correct advice was "look closer." I have the distribution block which is shaped differently. Thanks for your quick and reliable help! I bought the rebuild kit and will swap in the proportioning valve after cleaning it up.

Proportioning valve -and disk brake upgrade, please help

MY QUESTION: WILL MY STOCK PROP VALVE WORK? DO I NEED TO SWAP PROP VALVES? Ok, I have managed to confuse myself (which is an all to common occurence). I'm working on /6 1972 Scamp and currently swapping in the Kelsey Hayes set up from a '68 Barracuda. When I bought the set up the seller...

Does Scarebird have a customer service dept?

They responded to my email, but that was several months ago (I haven't purchased yet). They included a word document, but I can't figure out how to link it….so I just cut and past it. Not your exact year, but I bet it is very similar to the product they sell for your year. Mopar “A” body...
