How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

Really dude?! I think you're the dislexic one. How did I twist your words by saying that what I quoted can be misconstrued by the way it sounds.lol In no way did I say you said anything permenantly against anyone. And then, if you didn't catch this, I said hopefully you weren't calling him that...

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

I think this can be misconstrued as well or be taken the wrong way. Hopefully you mean you're not calling John this.

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

Hmmm, you paid for a part, got your part....doesn't sound too "F"ed over to me. "F"ed over would be just what crackedback posted.....8 yrs and counting on a set of Edelbrock heads.

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

Well I guess we all know what kind of person you are now, don't we. Not anyone many around here would want to hang around with or do business with, that's for sure. Good luck there Lone Ranger.

How to get in touch with Dillinger Chassis ?

Wow, really bro?? He's done nothing but treat me excellent! If I was him I wouldn't sell chit to you with that kind of attitude. You would think in these economic times you should just bend over backwards and kiss your own a$$ and be thoughtful enough about what the guy may be going through...

    new QA1 K Frame

9mo and counting :) Rain, snow, shine, drive EVERY day. Seems like they've passed the stress test to me. Oh, my RMS uppers have those rod/heim style ends on em and they seems to handle the road forces just fine. Now, I'm no engineer but so far his parts have held up more so than your BS words...

    new QA1 K Frame

Well, the stuff he sold me must be engineered correctly because I've been driving on em for over 9 months, rain, snow, and sunshine......no problems at all!!:glasses7: Thanks John Dillinger!!

    new QA1 K Frame

x2. Bet you won't find another set of lowers for a Mopar that are like John's! And, how do you think QA1 or RMS designed their stuff....on fixtures designed after STOCK Mopar mounting locations, etc. Also, bet you can't find em as good a'quality as John's for the price either. Don't...

    Dillinger Front Suspension Install

Nice, they look very similar to the gun-metal-gray that mine are powdercoated.

    anyone running Dillinger coilover kit

Yep, i'm running John's stuff. I have his lowers, coil over hoops, and coil over adapters. My uppers are RMS and that's only because I bought them before John started making his own uppers. My coil overs are QA1 DS401's with a 400# 10" spring. However, I'm going to a 350# 9" spring as the 400#...

I used PST as well on my 66 Valiant.

    Valiant project

I found a 76 Dart and pulled the spindles, rotors, and calipers. Should've grabbed the upper control arms but I knew I was going with tubular ones. Went through PST and bought the same year (76) upper and lower ball joints. Called Dr. Diff and bought his dual resevoir master cylinder with...

    66 Valiant Steering Box

Did they start that in 66? I pulled the manual shaft in my Valiant out of a 64 Dart and it has the bolt/nut collar that you tighten. These darned Chryslers!! LOL
  17. 64 SRT8 Dart

    66 Valiant Steering Box

yes you have to get the roll pin out if it's power steering. Manual steering has a bolt/nut you just have to loosen.

    Dillinger Chassis???

Yeah, I still have the box actually. Part number 31019 DormanHELP! brand. Shock and end link bushings. There's four pieces in the package and I used the shock bushings. I think they were 1 1/4" OD and 1/2" ID. I just rounded out the inside with a round wood file until they fit snuggly on...

    Dillinger Chassis???

They are slip-on style rubber that slide over the shock shaft. I tried to order a set of QA1 stops from Summit as for some reason QA1 doesn't include them in their kits, but they were on backorder for over a month! I ended up going to the local parts store, finding something similar....ie, help...

    Dillinger Chassis???

Have his lower control arms, coil over adapters and shock tower hoop kit in my daily driver Valiant. Would've bought his uca's but I'd already purchased RMS uppers before he made his upppers. Works like a dream and have no problems or complaints. Been driving on it for almost 3 months now.

    Power steering for a 65 dart v/8

The manual steering shaft is longer than the power shaft. So in this case you would have to swap the shafts out....if I remember right. I just went from power to manual a few months ago but everything is spoken for already.

    Way Cool Lower Control Arms

Hmmm, doesn't look like the material tore from the weld, looks like the welds just cracked in the middle. There's many factors that could come in to play with that: Wrong gas/wire combination, tensile strength of the wire was really low, too high/low of amps, could've even been just the wrong...

    Power Steering

The steering shaft in my 66 Valiant wasn't collapsable. I thought that it would be too, as the one in my 71 Swinger was, but I wonder if Mopar started that after 66? I had to change the shaft out when I went from power to manual. Both the manual and power shafts were non-collapsable. I still...

    Tubular Lower Control Arm Thread

Yep, just had to trim the supplied spacers down. I ended up tigging them flush with the outside of the bracket then running a cutoff wheel flush with the inside of the bracket. Worked like a dream. This was on the lower arm bracket. As far as the coil over adapter, I think I trimmed the spacer...

    Dillinger Front Suspension Install

My Dillinger lowers work great. Had a problem with the driver side being a little out of square but the K member looks to have had a nasty impact on that side in its past. The k member bolted into the car with no problems but I think the impact tweeked that side just enough so all I could do is...

    Collapsed steering shaft? Help!

When I put a manual box in my 71 Dart I pulled the whole shaft out of the column, drilled out the plastic pin or whatever it is, extended the shaft to where I needed it and reinstalled into the column without reinserting a pin or anything and never had a single problem with it ever. But then...

    Manual Steering Box Rebuild Questions

Well, after many weeks, got my steering box all together with some added grease zerks. Got one in between the bushings on the pitman shaft, one above the pitman shaft by the adjuster to grease the teeth, and another one at the end of the box right where the lower sector shaft bearing is...

Hi John, nice work on those uppers!! I'm only around 9.5hrs from you, I may have to make a trip to visit this Summer when I get the work done on the Valiant.
