Small bolt pattern Crager SS Mags

I think they only do limited runs of them. I know when I was looking, Summit didn't have them in stock, and had about a 6 month lead time, so you might want to get them while they have them in stock, unless you want to wait about another year.

Enough room for 15x10 on a Demon?

I just checked one out, and you are absolutely correct. And we all know that those low-profile tires wrapped around 20" wheels stick just as good as a tire with 3 times the sidewall.

Enough room for 15x10 on a Demon?

And that's why I said "If you have enough power to need that wide of tires, I wouldn't go with wheels that take conical nuts. If it's just for looks, it would be ok." To me, there's no need for 295's unless he's pushing a lot of power and needs to get it to the ground, in which case, there's...

I think I've seen that car before. I believe it was in Yuma, AZ

    Rear tires after moving springs

I have 275's with the 3/4" offset hangers, no tubs, on 15X8.5 wheels with a 4.5" backspace. They would definitely fit with a 3" relocation. You should be able to go to a 295, and maybe a 325 without tubbing, and could go with more backspace.

28" Tire to rocker clearance - Duster

If you're going to get a new driveshaft anyways, then space it as much as you need. If you're going to space it more than 1/4', you should probably weld the spacer in place. I just checked, and I did end up making 1/4" spacers for mine. Part of the reason I spaced it was to get the geometry of...

28" Tire to rocker clearance - Duster

Mine sits about like this, but with about 1/2"-3/4" clearance in front with M/T street ET Radials.

28" Tire to rocker clearance - Duster

If you 1.5" clearance with 26" tires, you should have 1/2" clearance with 28" tires. I have about 1/2"- 3/4" clearance with 28" tires on mine. I've thought about putting a spacer in the front spring perch so I can go to bigger tires, but I only have about 1/4" of threads left on the front perch...

Does anyone make wide 14" tires anymore?

Funny you should bring this up. I was just looking for some front tires for my barracuda today. The rears are Cooper Cobra's that I bought a couple years ago (225/60-14) so I was trying to find some 215/60-14's for the front. (I had 13's on front, but recently sold them, so the front has been...

    295 / 65 /15 mt s?

Is my car deformed? I have a '74 Duster, and with MT 275/60-15's, which are a shade under 28" tall, only have about 7/16" to the front corner of the fender lip.

Choosing a Drag Radial, Harder then I thought....

I recently went through the same decision process. I ended up getting the M/T ET Street Radials. Just got them mounted and took a spin with them today. HUGE difference from the regular street tires I had on it before. There things are sticky. Downside of them is they don't last long- I've...

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

I think I'll just hold out a while longer and get the M/T's.

They are now, but a week ago when I made that post, they were $127.

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

I have, but they are way out of my price range right now. Just paid for Christmas, and saving for a trip to Ireland in March. My car budget is at a minimum right now, but I need better tire's than the POS tires on it now. I think they are one compound away from being hard plastic.

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

Good question. I found them when I was searching the other day for $117, but can't find them now. Found them for $127 at www.discounttires.com

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

What size wheels and tires did you have on it? I'm thinking the lower profile, the less difference there would be between the 2. I had an Eagle Talon TSi for a while, and traction was a *****. Never tried any decent tires on it, though.

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

I found the Nitto's (275/60R15) for $117. M/T's in the same size seem to be about $190 no matter where I look. That's $140 difference for a pair. Anyone know where to get the M/T's for less?

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

From what I've red, they last longer than M/T's and BFG's. I'm sure the M/T's have the best traction, but I think they only last something like 3000 miles on the street. I did read a review by a guy with the Nittos on a Corvette and had a 1.66 60 ft. so they must hook ok.

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

I know everyone likes the M/T's, but I'm wondering how the Nitto's are since they cost about $50 less each, and are supposed to last longer.

    Nitto NT555R Drag Radials

Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm looking for a good pair of drag radials, and it's between the Nitto's, BFG, or M/T. The Nitto's are a lot less expensive than the others, and from the reviews I've seen on them, they seem to be good.

wheel and tire fittmen ? help!. Ive searched

There are adapters that will change 5X4 to a 5X4.5 for the back. They'll space the wheel out about an inch or so. I don't know if they make them anymore, but if you look around, you should be able to find them. I've seen them in the "For Sale" section before.

    5x4

I'll be selling the 13" cragars off my '64 as soon as I get the rubber mounted on my new ones. They look good on earlier a-bodies, but don't know about how they'd look on your '71. They are the ones on my avatar pic

14 x 8 Cragar SS Size - Will it Fit?

I have 205's in front and 225's in rear and can tell the difference. But, I have 13" wheels in front and 14's in the rear. I have a set of 14's for the front now, just haven't got them on yet. By my calculations, there will be 3/4" to 1" in height difference between those tires.

14 x 8 Cragar SS Size - Will it Fit?

I measured, and they have 4" of backspacing. so you could run a 9" wide wheel with 5" of back spacing, so about a 255 wide tire

14 x 8 Cragar SS Size - Will it Fit?

well, considering I have over 2" to spare between the spring, it makes sense to me that you could go about 2" wider than what I have (I don't think you could go out any more with the offset I have). I meant to check my offset today for you, but got a little busy. I know it has more negative...
