275 r 60 15's fit with no tubing but you have to move your spring perches, and measure measure measure,to get the correct back space on your wheels.

Mike i used the MP off set kit and it worked out to 3/4'' right on the money, The back space was 47/8" for the life of me i can't remember the off set. Sucks to get old........Ed.

8" wheel will fit but you have to use off set shackles and mounts, my 66 with 8" wheels no cutting at all.

If you want to run the biggest tire you can without doing a mini tub,Get some offset spring hangers, then you can run a 15"x8" rim with 4 7/8ths back space then you can run a 275 tire.

15x8 rallies with 275's didn't like the look so went with the steel rim.

Stock wheel wells no cutting at all, 15"x8" rim with 4 7/8" b/s, i didn't like the look of the rallies so i sold them and went steel rims, I got about 1 1/2" space between the wheel lip and tire and about 1" to the spring.And yes it's a Abody 83/4.

I butt welded mine in. The problem with lap welds is they hold moisture and rott out.

Yep the 255's hit the springs in stock location.Used the MP offset hangers.

Out of all the A bodys i have swaped diffs in all were different,As long as it's square between your rails your good, As said above tolerances were **** back then.

I used some 15x8 rallies with a 255 60 on my 66.

The Dougs fit great on our early A's mine have been modded from a 21/2'' to 3'' collector a easy fab to do so you can run 3'' exhaust.
