That’s why I keep at least 10 cars in my rotation…that way I have at least 2 running at any given time…although a few weeks ago I was down to 1 for a few days…but I got my OBS Chevy on the road so Im currently back at 3 running….

I was going to lock out the mechanical advance on it and keep it on the 400 when we convert the car to a sniper EFI..it was used on a Hemi at one time.

Is the cap and rotor for a big block the same number as for a small block tach drive distributor?

I was out buying some other parts at a farm and spotted it, I’m going back next week with a friend who builds engines to grab it .... he thought the numbers were Strange that I sent him.

It’s at a farm near Winnipeg so it might be from a Versatile tractor, they used 318 and 400s. It looks like orange is the original colour and I would guess all passenger car engines would be blue by 74...

is this a 400 or 440? I thought 830 casting was for a 440, but it says 400 on the thing... looks like a 1974
