On the back of my 70 Dart I'm running a 15x7 with 4 1/4 back space and the tire is a 255/60-15.

Not sure on the 15x8. I run a 15x7 with a 255/60-15 on my 70 Dart. Stock 83/4 width no leaf spring mods at all. They are the Super Stock springs. No mini tubbing. That's probably the biggest tire I can fit.

I also have a 70 Dart with a 8 3/4 factory width and run a 15x7 with 4 1/4 back space. I run a 255/60-15 tire. My car is still sbp. Hope this helps.

So if i was to have my 70 Dart mini tubbed and the leaf springs moved to the frame rails all with a stock lenght A-body rear end and run a 15x10 with 325/50-15 what would the back space have to be to fit? The car is currently all stock if that helps...

I know you said your Dart has a 15x7 rim on it now and you want to to a 15x8and your not sure on the bolt pattern. My 70 Dart has a 15x7 ralley on it with a 255/60-15 on them and they are sbp. So yours might be sbp and with that you might have to special order a 15x8 rim. Just a thought.

The two 15x7's will fit right on your 70 swinger with a tire size of 255/60-15 and should have no problems. That is what I have on the back of my 70 Swinger. I actually have a total of four 15x7's two for my street tires and two for when I get a set drag radials.

I agree with the 255/60x15 15x7 rim with 4.25 backspacing thats what I have on the back of my 70 Dart. Fits real good no rubbing. Couldn't go much larger at all though

I will have to double check on the back space. And I'll let you know.
