Well I first noted the problem when we pushed the car off the rack, we rolled it forwards and then tried to roll it back into an open spot. it wouldnt roll backwards, i had to jack it up and remove the drive shaft for it to roll backwards. The driveshaft will not spin backwards. I was in a...

oK I will give it another shot tonite, 5/16 8 point. so after the adjustment is correct, should i try and start it even though im still getting no reverse? car hasnt been started in approx 6 months. -Chris

Ok an update, I pull the pan and valve body, the levers are intact and did not fall out. I tried to torque the adjuster but its rounded and could only get a wrench on it, it looks to be in the same position as when i pulled it out.seems pretty close... I hope. So i put everything back...

One more question, anyone have a diagram on how the pieces go back together? -Chris

i had that problem before when i put my motor and trans together, it turned out i had an interanally balanced motor with an externally balanced flywheel. so it threw the whole balance of the engine off. swapped the flywheel and it was fine.

That looks like a silicon mess, as sst3193 said, drop the pan, get a reusable gasket, put some gasket tack on the pan and slap it back in, also, where the shift levers are, check there, I had a drip for a while put a qt of fluid and now it dumped everywhere, the shifter seal is bad and it just...

The whine didn't start till I put the lokar cables in... The kick down lever shouldnt move till I give it at least half throttle correct?
