Drum wear out and can only be cut s many times......just like a lot of parts on the car... Replace the parts as needed......certainly brakes that are a safety issue... I crashed my car cause I could not stop...but hell...I had the original drums on it...lol

I like Strange brake. Got them on 4 cars. Front and back disc. Lost 46 lbs over the stock disc on the front...plus the car rolls so much easier...

Going from stock disk brakes 73 style to a set of Strange disk brakes I saved 46 lbs.....and the front tires spin a lot easier...

no the willwood brake calipers have 4 bleeders on them?.......two up and two down....you will need to bleed the calipers separate...inside and outside ones

Great tool....had issues bleeding those new aftermarket calipers...Motive Power Bleeder killed them....Have used it alot especially as a one man show...Got use it again in a few days..

I got mine from Dr Diff....since I have a few a bodies I bought about 3 or 4 of them...

the issue is the rubber retainer keeps the rod inside the MC.....there have been many case where the rod has fell out of the master cylinder...and look mom no brakes.. if it is not machine or you dont have the little rubber.....just fill the void with rtv

I have 73 brakes on a 71 demon..71 duster and 71 dart....I used the hose for a 73 Duster...

the other is a dust shield.

along with the new axles...you need to get the correct backing plates for the drums you want to run... in fact ...make sure you tell who ever you are getting the axles from...what backing plates you are going to use.....

put rod in vise...smack master cylinder...there is a rubber grommet on the rod that is holding it in...

I use the Mopar aluminium master cylinder.... kind of depends on the bore size of the master cylinder....

reason i ask...our 71 duster had a disc/drum set up..now has 4 wheel disc..the rear pads were wearing at a fast rate...seems the proportioning valve was causing it...now got a distribution block... ok...good luck

I have done it with strange brakes... green bearing is what is needed... look at your brake lines...if you use the stock steel...going to need adapter .. going to need safety wire also with wilwood brakes..the hub is bolted to rotor and safety wired...

straight to the firewall........

That is what I did....removed the booster...used the manual rod....adjusted the lines .....
