I think I've heard of this on some slants before. I've read on this forum that the factory had actually used the bolt to press on the balancer and then removed it.?? Sounds weird to me and my 225 had the bolt in place. Hopefully someone will chime in with more slant knowledge- Wheres...

You know you dont have to switch K members anymore. Trans Dapt and Schumacher both have adapter mounts to put in whatever you want. I used Trans Dapts mounts to put a 383 on my /6 K frame and it only cost me about $60.00

Thats a damn good question! Its for a forged crank with the thin balancer. Is that all I am concerned with or is there more to it than that?

Should be an R after the 893. I think that when a part is specific to drivers and passengers side the DS will have an even part number and the PS will have an odd one, like leaf springs.
