    Exhaust manifold gaskets

I have only been able to get my headers to seal with Remflex gaskets. I also have studs instead of bolts, so I just cut the bottoms out of the gaskets bolt holes so I can just loosen the header nuts and drop the gasket in place.

    Great Price 67-76 Mopar A-Body Complete Stainless X Pipe System Hooker Blackheart 2.5" & 3" - Under $400 & Free Shipping

I've been watching these for a while. They were close to $1000 for the longest time, it's a great deal now. Keep regularly checking their clearance page too. I picked up a water pump, electric fuel pump, and a set of head gaskets for $75 total a few months ago. They had the TKX crossmember...

Dyno Max Ultra Flows with 3" Pipes

I don't think I can fit anything in front of the mufflers unfortunately. I have these for out back, I doubt they'll do anything, but I have to build tailpipes anyway so I may as well add them in and see.

Dyno Max Ultra Flows with 3" Pipes

I had the turn downs angled out, they seem quieter angled straight down actually. I used v band clamps to hold them on, so I can adjust as needed. I added some dynomat and heat shield a few years ago when I had the interior out, that made a world of difference.

Dyno Max Ultra Flows with 3" Pipes

Just inside, it doesn't really drone much, just a bit on the loud side at rpm. I can't hear my kids talking to me from the backseat, which sometimes is a good thing!

Dyno Max Ultra Flows with 3" Pipes

I forgot someone filmed my car idling a while back, so I figured I'd share in case anybody wondered what Dynomax Ultraflows sound like. In the video it has Pro Parts headers, reduced down to 3" with a H pipe, Dynomax Ultraflows with 3" tail pipes and turn downs at the bumper. I currently...

3 inch exhaust clearing gas tank 70 Dart ???

I've got 3" tail pipes with a mini tub and I boarded springs. It's doable but took me forever to make them.

    HOME MADE EXHAUST

I'm working on the over the axle part of my exhaust now, I bought a piece of flex pipe to bend into the shape I need so I can easily mockup the solid bends to match.

Inboard springs, stock gas tank, dual exhaust

They don't hang low with how I have them.
  13. 72Duster440

Inboard springs, stock gas tank, dual exhaust

You can see it here, the stock gas tank fits just fine, these are 3" pipes out the back. If I did it again, I would have them go through the springs and exit outboard of them like in post 3 above.

    HOME MADE EXHAUST

I use those, but I cut windows into them so I am able to tack weld the joints while the pipes are clamped.

    Tailpipes with mini tub

Yeah, that's my plan. My old set of pipes ran inside the springs, it was a pain, I'm going outside this time.

    Tailpipes with mini tub

Thanks, I'm 99% sure I can't package them, but I'm gonna look up the dimensions for the 3" version and see. Mines minitubbed with a stock tank, I was able to fit 3" pipes out to the bumper, but didn't have a long straight portion, it was all bends around stuff.

    Tailpipes with mini tub

Looks good, I wish I had the clearance for that. What resonators are those out back?
  18. 72Duster440

    Tailpipes with mini tub

    Nice fit, what sized pipes?
  19. 72Duster440

    Tailpipes with mini tub

I managed to fit 3" pipes through on mine with a stock gas tank.

    BB exhaust studs

Like you said, may as well use a bolt at that point. I did a quick look and it doesn't appear ARP has any with that short of a head side thread either.

    Best electric cutouts?

I ran QTP for years with no issues. No leaks or rattles. I have just recently removed them from my car and would be willing to sell them if you're interested. They are the 3" version. Quick Time Performance QTEC60 Quick Time Performance Electric Exhaust Cutouts | Summit Racing

    HOME MADE EXHAUST SYSTEM

I made my own 3" system because nobody sells one for a mini tubbed car. The tail pipes were very difficult to snake through with inboarded springs and a stock tank. The driver side had to be scalloped to clear the spring shackle. Pro - it works Con - ugly and lots of work Edit: Looks...

    HOME MADE EXHAUST SYSTEM

I built mine, dual 3" from the collector to the rear bumper, with a mini tubbed car and a stock tank. Very tough getting a big pipe past the axle with the mini tub. It works, it isn't the prettiest, but theres no rattles and it sounds great.
  24. 72Duster440

Exhaust turn downs at rear bumper

3" all the way to the back, not the prettiest underneath to get around the minitub, tanks and leafs, but it works.

    Homemade exhaust custom

Looks good, can't wait to hear it!! On another note, do you like those wheel dollies that you have the car on? Do they roll good? Which brand?

3" TTI exhaust out the back

I have 3" tailpipes on mine, its minitubbed with a stock tank. Extremely tight fit and it's all custom, had to scallop out the passenger side to clear the shackle. I'd be shocked if an off the shelf kit would work.

    before the axle turn downs

I have my dumps turned sideways, since I have minimal ground clearance there, they are way too loud outside of the car, they just blast the noise right at people. I'm going to angle them down as much as I can to try to an calm them down a little.

Inboard spring guys. Tail pipes? ???

I have 3" pipes with springs inboard to the frame rails. They arent pretty, but they dont rub or rattle

    Electric cutouts

I installed some QTP cutouts, they weren’t cheap, but they work great. I will say, that after a season with them, the novelty has worn off and I kind of wish I didn’t install them.
  30. 72Duster440

    Anyone ever try exhaust cutouts?

I have a set of QTP 3" ones on my Duster. They make it sound great when they are open, but I find I barely use them now that the novelty has wore off. Once on a while I'll drive with them just cracked a little, it sounds good inside, but probably sounds like an exhaust leak outside. Lol
