Re thinking the presentation I've update the diagram to better show the components, and transition points. I wanted to call out that the "Idle circuit" "Power Valve" and "Accel Pump" are working throughout the range starting at the transition from idle to primary.

Hi FABO, I've been tweaking the carb on my Dart and want to better understand the sequencing of how and when fuel is delivered through the range. I drafted a simple and crude Diagram that depicts in general what I think is happening. Am I off? Does anyone have a better diagram?

It's finally in, only thing left is to pray it doesn't leak thanks to all. A quick heads up. I bought this sink strainer lock nut wrench at Home Depot for 7 bucks and it helped.

I was afraid you would say that lol this is tight with a capital T. The retainer tabs are starting to bend.

Okay so I couldn't find my tubing bender so I massaged it by hand and Tweaked it just a bit. It's still hitting the bottom but I'm just able to overcome the resistance to seat the flange. It is very tight though and spinning the retainer is one hell of a chore. Even with the tank on the floor...

Hmm... maybe it is just mine then, although Duster440 says he had something similar. Tough week for me, first the the brake line work around now fuel, I guess it's all a part of the experience :) I wish it just dropped in because then the tank would be installed an I'd be running the lines...

It is, as Far as I can tell, the box indicated its for 67-76 ABody and the packing lip matches. The number on the box matches the stamp on the piece. Maybe something changed going up to 3/8ths

Thanks for the validation and yes I really don't like the idea of bending up a brand new part either. ive got an old tubing bender I can use just to be safe.

I picked up a 3/8 sending unit and new fuel tank from YearOne, and I'm in the process of putting everything together but the sending unit pickup tube is bottoming out preventing the flange from sitting flush. I immediately thought cheap part with bad bends. Has this happened to anyone else...

Good idea putting a small collector for the filler neck. Messed up psycho ex. but a funny story for sure. :)

While searching through the FABO archive I ran across the 4mulas post regarding his flip top adapters. Not only did this point me in the right direction, now I want to buy one and a flip top to go with it. lol

Cool! Thanks! I have one more for you guy's. I don't remember how the filler neck attaches to the quarter panel. The left quarter has an AMD skin on it and It doesn't have the holes. Before I dig in and start drilling I'm hoping someone can take a picture of their set up for reference.

my fuel tank arrived today (for my 69 Dart) and after inspecting it I'm wondering if the bend on the flange is supposed to be there.
