Starter came from Indy yrs ago had a problem at first install but loosened it and reset it and all was good for yrs

Did the job at neighbors shop he has a lift and tranny jack he was doin converter while I did other things converter was free spinning and had to be pulled forward to get to flex plate I did check converter after replacing seal it was all the way in almost touching bellhousing

Double checked that when installing

I pulled tranny in my 72 Dart 360 a-500 to replace front seal got it back together now the starter is grinding loud. I loosened it 3 times and tried to reposition it but no luck still really loud. It was fine before pulling trans whats wrong? It's a mini starter Thanks

I used a tap screwed it in till just tight and put vise grip on tap then lightly hammered it out

Yup I got rid of my comps they always rattled

Turbo in the van moved back a couple feet yee-ha wheelie van

It's hittin really solid and yes it's really long compared to the stock one I'm gonna get the stock stick and cut the tube to match I still have the old tube to use for measurement

Put a new tube and stick in the la 360 small block,the stick is hittin something[windage tray?] It goes about 3/4 of the way in so it's in the pan which is stock. It's a chrome replacement don't know why it would be hittin. Any suggestions? Thanks

Nope thats why I had to pull motor and rebuild bottom end litteraly broke it in gonna take it easy this time, at least for a couple hundred miles anyway

Posted about lost my spacer, never had one alt mounts to a/c bracket. Thats what happens when you wait over a yr to put motor back together ole memory ain't what it used to be.
