Post your wheel and tire combos.

Here's the latest combo on the Duster. US Mags U101 polished slots 15x5" w/2.5" bs 205/70-15 radials 15x9 w/5" bs (mini-tubbed & springs inboard) 325/50-15 Nitto drag radials Switched out the racey race Draglites and 165r skinny fronts for these. Going for a tough "Day 2" kinda look. So far...

    73-76 A-Body Offset

If you want the rims/tires to tuck under the fenders and not "stick out" too bad, you'll need rims that give 2" or less on the front side (ie a 5" rim with 3.5" back spacing leaving 1.5" on the front side). I have the same set up, 73+ LBP discs with Firm Feel tubular uppers and run a 15x3.5"...

    Summit wheels...pics?

It's not perfect by any means. It may go to body shop jail this winter for a respray. We will see. Sorry OP. Bruce and I need to get our own thread I suppose

    Summit wheels...pics?

:D How they doin for ya? I liked the style of those wheels. Draglites are light as heck, but everyone's got em. And they are a PITA to polish out if they've been neglected! :banghead:

    Summit wheels...pics?

Thx. It's a work in progress (aren't they all?) Backspace is 4.5" on those rears.

    finally pulled the trigger

Haters gonna hate. I appreciate the look of 15" rims and fat drag radials and the more modernized pro touring or updated performance look of 17-18" rims too! Looks killer man. It's all in the style of rim too...nice job!

    Summit wheels...pics?

15x4 and 15x8 Warriors on the Duster. Decent wheels for the $, but shocked how much heavier they are than the forged Draglites I've got now. My opinion? Keep your eye out for a set of Draglites/ProbStars or Auto Drags used, give em a real good polish and you've got a WAY higher quality, lighter...

    325/50s on15x8s ?

Vince, it's been done. Read about this myself actually a little while ago and some of the 5.0 Mustang guys have done it, but again at what risk? And it looks out of place/mismatched. My final decision was 295/55/15 MT Drag Radials. That's what I'm gonna order soon. I also like the fact that they...

Mopar Rally wheels or Cragar SS

My vote is Cragars! Old school cool in my opinion! If you want to sell your Draglites let me know! Looking for a set exactly like that for my street/strip Duster! Sent ya a PM too...

I love this wheel, who makes it?

Cheapest that's close is the Summit house brand "Warrior R/T" Had em on my Duster for awhile and always got compliments on em. Now they are on Bruce's car (BadSport) and looking equally good I'd say. I mini tubed and moved springs in in order to run a 10" wheel so the 8" rears wouldn't cut...

    Good Backspacing for new rims

You'll want to go with 4.5" backspacing. Assuming the rear is going to stay stock? You can get. 255/60 in there. Up front a 215 tire is gonna be pretty tall. I've had them on my Duster and they rubbed at times. A 205/70 even 205/65 would be a better choice.

    Will a 15x10 wheel with 7.25 backspace fit a 1970 Dart with 8.25 Rear

You'll need a mini tub if you want to tuck tire, and a spring relo forsure no matter what if you dont want the 80's jacked up, wheels sticking out beyond the fender look. That wheel and backspacing should work pretty good, but I'd run a 325/50/15 tire. That car in your post has also had the...

    New wheels and tires

You may be able to squeeze a 245/60/15 on the rear which is 26.6" tall. That would be decent. A 215/70/15 front is basically 27" tall and would most likely rub especially when turning not to mention look goofy being taller than the rears. I have 215/70/15's on my 70 Duster as rollers currently...

    Lets see your steelies

$1,000,000 question! Nobody produces them but they should! I've seen a couple one off custom sets on money no object builds. I for one would buy a set! I love steeliness and caps look, but the weight sucks! I think they would sell a ton if one of the big boys like Weld or Centerline did them

    Leanna's PSC "B5 Blue: trials

Doesn't get much better than that! Looks more than fine for a wheel. Separated by the tire and wheel well etc they look the same. If anything the hue seems the same. Just PCoated is just a "fresher" newer looking coat than the lacquer that's 25 yrs old. Kudos to Leanna!

DWIRE! Someone parked your Duster in a Chebby garage (See pic #1 in Post #30)...they are about to perform som "Super Chevrolet Service" on it! Run! All kidding aside...your car looks spot on with those wheels. Tempted to get a set and try 'em on my '70. Just not sure if I've got an...

Tire Size For a 1974 Plymouth Scamp

1/4" spacer for the springs...then Eastwood fender roller tool for the lips. You should be able to get that tire to fit though. Had that size on my 71 Scamp and it should be about the same...

    275/50/15 on a 7" wheel ?

Good choice w/ a 7" wheel!! I've got 275/50's on the Duster now on an 8" wheel and it's the minimum I'd go (as recommended). A 7" would buldge to much as mentioned i previous posts...

    Putting 325s out back?

275/50/15 no muss no fuss on a 8" wheel w/ 4.5" backspace on a 70 Duster. Springs in stock location. They are about 1/16" away from spring clamps. Gonna run a 1/4" spacer...little wider than a 275/60 and only 26" tall so you dont loose any gear with a tall 60 series tire....low and mean looking...

    15 x 8 on barracuda backspacing?

Take some wheels you know the dim's on...take some measurements, put some tape on the floor and get a flat edge and go to town...that's what I did to be sure...it's not exact but you can get damn close. Dont forget to take into account tire sidewall buldge too if applicable. It took me a good...
