    WALBRO Pump for Carbureted System??

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mrg-2015/overview/ The cheaper, Mr. Gasket regulator doesn't seeem to be boost-referenced, either... am I reading that right? If so, that would disqualify it from being used as a forced-induction application, right? Just want to be sure I'm right about...

    WALBRO Pump for Carbureted System??

That is very enlightening. Why would they not put a disclaimer on the gauge, itself??? That renders it useless for what we do, doesn't it??? Thanks for the good info!!!

I don't think it needs to be plugged, but that's not a bad idea, to keep stuff out of it...

    WALBRO Pump for Carbureted System??

Since the hardware is already there, that makes all kinds of sense. I'd try it.... I think it would probably work okay.

    WALBRO Pump for Carbureted System??

I can't see why that wouldn't work, but consider this: With 60psi pressure from the pump, why would you need a half-inch supply line? That is an AWFUL lot of gasoline (at 60 psi, I mean.) I can't imagine that a 3/8-line would be too small... Food for thought...:coffee2:

    WALBRO Pump for Carbureted System??

Good advice. We run a Walbro 392 pump on our turbocharged slant six, with Holley double-pumper 600 4-bbl and have ZERO problems using an Aeromotive regulator that adjusts the pressure down to 6psi with no boost, which the carburetor likes. The regulator has a 3/8" supply with a half-inch...

    Why is this happening?!!Please help.

I'd bet that SOMEWHERE in the supply line between your fuel pump inlet and your tank, there is a vauum leak (maybe just a tiny one) in that line or one of the fittings. Check it out CLOSELY; the symptoms you describe could be the result of a cracked hose or a fitting that isn't tight. Doesn't...

Where To Get High Octane Gas...

I'm running a Vortech superchaged 360 Magnum with a true 9:1 compression ratio. Boost is 10 pounds.... Detonation is not an option (cast pistons, cast crank and OEM composition head gaskets.) I don't think I'm throwing my money away on Av Gas....:salute:

Where To Get High Octane Gas...

Does anyone know the research octane and motor octane numbers for aviation gas that is called 100 LL (low lead?) I have access to that, but am curious about what kind of pump octane numbers it would be rated at (R + M divided by 2). Also, what color is this 100LL???? Thanks for any...

    Bypass Port Plug

If it doesn't leak, I'd think a NPT pipe plug with some anti-sieze on it might work. Just a thought...

Show us your fuel cell installation...

Because my car us driven a lot on the street, I wanted to carry a spare tire, so I mounted my 8-gallon fuel cell in such a way that I can still use the spare tire wheel well for a wheel and tire. Its not the prettiest thing in the world, but it works... I use the original tank for pump gas and...

    Best carb intake setup?

I agree that a dual-plane, vacuum secondary carb combination would probably work well for you in your application. I had a 360 with a mild cam and installed a Holley 3310 (750cfm vac. secondary) on a Crosswind (Professional Products) manifold. It was a great combination with no "flat...

The latest (January) issue of HOT ROD magazine has a BIG article on using E-85, beginning on page 104. Lots of good information, there.
