    if I remember correctly you will also have to remove front windshield so that you can remove screws that hold the dash in, you can get to the two under dash!

    my question: is there suppose to be an inner fender well clamp that holds heater hose's in place or do the just lay there and if so does anyone know who sells them.     I put some Permatex thread sealer on it a little while ago and will let it sit over night and if does not work I will try the tape, if does not work I will try Permatex right stuff or red Loctite.

    I bought some Permatex aviation sealer and it looks and smells just like the #2 Loctite gasket sealer I used that did not work. my question is what's the diff.

    my engine is a "fresh rebuild" and I only put water in it to see if I would have any leaks! can I use the Teflon paste or do I still have to use the tape because of the water?

    I have a leak on one of my water pump bolts that hold the alternator bracket on! I read the service manual and it does not say to use RTV on bolts upon assembly. my question is should I use RTV on bolts or do I have another problem that I am not aware of that is causing this issue?

    I also just happened to have some black foam rubber pieces (2"'x4") with adhesive on one side that I have had for a long time, that were in my plastic parts bin, that I used for gasket between plate and firewall.

    I know that I can make one since I am a retired Tool & Die Maker but I would like to have an original one if possible! Was there a gasket behind it, what kind of material was it and would you happen to know how thick the metal was just incase I do have to make one!
