    Caliper paint thoughts.

Don't forget powder coating! I can create some cool effects and it holds up to excess heat.

    Paint ???

You're welcome gordy! I've been using it for years now and can't remember where I first found it, but it's been a big help on my factory-style restorations.

    Paint ???

This may be helpful to you. I've had it for years and successfully relied on it time and again. (I apologize in advance if the formatting gets weird -- it doesn't copy and paste well on forums so call me if you have questions about something.) * * * Mopar Chassis Color Chart Legend...

    Caliper Rebuild

Your transparent green will only work on polished metal or with a shiny base coat -- it's what makes the candy translucent powders 'pop' like they do. Straight up, if your ride is a driver rather than strictly a show car it might not be the best choice for your sway bar though; candies look...

    Vacuum holding brake pedal down!

A quick off-topic Thank you .......... :-D It breaks my heart to think of post-work modifications Mike (thus our talk about the knock out on your dad's valve covers a couple weeks ago heh hehh).

    Drum to Disk Kits

I went with an Aerospace Components setup on the front of my Cuda and it's amazing with the 4-piston calipers and drilled/slotted rotors. It wasn't cheap but the installation was fairly simple and it does work flawlessly. With all due respect Kevin, if you're worried about getting dirty then...

    Caliper paint...

Bought a can of that in silver for the Honda dirt bike project. Nice stuff! Used it on the exhaust and a few other parts that couldn't be heated up for powder coat. It burned off the exhaust almost immediately (big surprise there lol) but otherwise seems to be very durable. Your calipers...

    dumb question number 9999

Yep! :-D Hey, if it works and he doesn't get dirty, he'll thank me for sayin it too. LOL But assuming you've seen Beavis and Butthead doing America, I can really get your blood going by adding fire ... and guns ... and cigarettes

    dumb question number 9999

Have you tried using the automatic star wheel adjusters? Find an empty parking lot, put it in reverse, drive a little ways, then pump up the brakes until the car stops. Do this a few times and you might find you don't need to pull the wheels off.

Is it worth replacing Kelsey Hayes 4 piston

Thanks for the plug Terry! :-D jerry6, they're on my Price List for $30.00. If you're interested in getting them done sooner than later, I'm having an Anniversary Special through June 30.

    disc brake setups...front/rear

Psssssssst Brian, don't let that AC Delco jack stand know it's holding up a Mopar ... it might revolt on ya!!! :-D

    disc brake setups...front/rear

It was about a grand for the front setup 5 years ago. I haven't been able to afford the rears yet LOL, but the fact they have matching fronts and rears available was one of my main reasons for going with Aerospace. Plus they asked me what size free t-shirt I wanted and they sent one that...

    disc brake setups...front/rear

I went with Aerospace Components. Expensive yeah ... but you have to whoa before you can go. There's no way you should scrimp on brakes when your life is on the line. Nice fit with 15" Torque Thrust IIs. A little grinding on the shock mount but otherwise a pretty painless installation.

    Thanks a lot NAPA :(

Lucky it's just the bolt ... if you had to return the booster to NAPA and it was a special order, every NAPA store I've ever dealt with had a 10-15% "restocking fee" they charge you even if they're the ones who messed up and ordered the wrong part. A bit off topic, but I for one miss the old...

    Master cylinder cover/gasket

LOL! Wasn't tryin to sway your decision or anything. :-D I think the coating job on m/c covers is like a whopping $12 on the price list -- not exactly a bank breaker. I'll let ya know if I see one for sale.

    Master cylinder cover/gasket

Chas, thanks for the referral -- you're a doll! Shadango, I haven't done any in a chrome powder yet but this color is called Alien Silver (a very popular choice). Not the style of cover you're looking for, I know, but it'll give you an idea of how it can look.
