Advice needed: Relocating brake light switch in 67 Dart

Went to a power brake system in my 67 Dart. Hooked up okay as I believe it was a dealer installed unit. But HOW can I relocate the brake light switch? There seems to be no adjustment(s) for it. Different bracket? Add on? Any help appreciated...

So what are your offseason plans?

Get some goodies lined up before Spring. Namely having the power brake assist ready to go in, and find some bucket seats. As far as working on them.. too chilly, garage too drafty and uninsulated. Need to be in AZ or Florida....=P~

WTK: Who has/makes caps or tops for Rally Wheel centers?

I have the bullet/sombrero type centers, the caps on the top are pretty rough. Anyone know who makes or has for that matter a set of stick-ons or whatever so I can clean them up? Thanks guys!

1967 Dart: HELP! Trim is GLUED On From Factory?

Yes, it's a Dart GT. Nuts wouldn't do me (or the trim any good) all of the attaching posts have either been ground down or sliced off,I cant tell which one yet. Accordingly, they are close to flush with the surface. Only way I will be able to put the stuff back on is to re-glue it, so looks...

1967 Dart: HELP! Trim is GLUED On From Factory?

This CAN'T be from the factory can it? Looks like all the nibs are cut down/off,no speed nuts and the stuff is glued on the car, quarters, doors and fenders. It WILL come off with a propane torch. IE: very slowly, and I have to get those things hot before they let go. It will be a two person job...

    Muriatic acid

Chev, I've used that stuff before and it DOES clean well, but I found that trace amounts still remained in the parts to cause discoloration etc. I was told after the fact that sticking them in baking soda dissolved in water would cease the cleaning. But my cleaning was already done so I can't...

Help with leaky tank on '67 Dart

Ok, the bad boy starts leaking last summer. I got a new gasket and lock ring, after siphoning off the gas to the Saturn, I knock the ring on the tank loose,( I also notice some featherhead has pushed/knocked the stop on the tank to where that doesn;t stop ANYTHING) Okay so I bend back the tank...

Headlights on a Dart: What is best? What do you guys use?

Believe it or not I still have one tungsten filament headlight on the Dart, the other is a standard Halogen, so I plan to put TWO new ones in. What are you guys using thats BETTER?? Or are the Upgraded Sylvanias the safest bet? Sylvania 6024 ST OR Sylvania 6024 XV

Electrical Help with 1968 Side Markers on a 1967.

I have them all installed, and the back ones I hooked up to the taillights. No issues there. Problem: I can hook to the parking lights or the headlights. How do I hook up the front ones where they are on all the time? New 1968 front end harness? Or? I really don't want to hack on the 67...

Whats the coolest thing you found in your new Mopar?

HAAAAA Good thread idea! In my 1968 Charger (sorry nothing cool in my Dart) there was part of a New Era potato chip bag and an empty Goebel beer can(opened with the church-key) in the passenger's door.

    Sat in the new challenger!

I agree totally with hemizach and ssd: I walked right past a new Camaro last week THREE times before I realized it WASN'T a Challenger. Generous Motors did a copy of said Mopar, too bad.:sad1:

Help!Trunk Lid Still Shuts After Adjusting

I've been hit in the head way too many times by my 67 Dart's trunk. The rods are adjusted as far as they can be and it still shuts. There isn't ANY filler or extracurricular stuff on the trunk lid, but I can't get this thing to stay up. What do you guys do about this? Am sure it happens to...
