    Possible good news from TrickFlow

With all due respect and please understand I'm sharing my experience because what an incredible difference hip replacement made. First thing first I'm 54, I broke my hip in 2001 and Dr Blakey told me I would need a hip replacement in 20 ish years. I should have gotten it replaced 2 maybe 3 years...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

I have what is on the left! Definitely not that huge runner beauty on the right.

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

That is the direction I'd like to go, along with having my Eddie's ported, not for all out power but to optimize what is there. I mean who doesn't want another twenty Clydesdales and Twenty Thoroughbreds across the field of revs. It ran crisp, very responsive in a gear or two up from what you...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

That's the same intake I have 4452893 it bolted to the RPM heads with enlargement of the bolt holes. The bolt holes in your intake do indeed look spaced wider. Did they use the same casting# and drill the holes spaced wider for the W5? If the ports and volume are the same on the W5 intake and...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

I believe all single plane M1 intakes for standard heads non W series heads are spread bore and I've never seen an M1 specific to the W series heads. I'm sure they are out there but I haven't seen them. Every M1 I've seen since looking for info on the M1 leads me to spread bore intakes.

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

That was my thought when I posted. RUSTY RAT ROD educated me with a ANTI-REVERSION plate made by Magna fuel so I went searching as I had never heard of them. Where I then found a conversation with air flow engineer Darin ? from Reher Morrison racing engines about them. Wilson, Morrison...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

The X pipe is from Dr Gas the rest is TTI. I ordered a cam and RHS cast iron X heads for the 408 in my truck from Brian at IMM and I asked if he had tested X pipes as I like the sound and wanted them on everything no matter how difficult they are to plumb correctly. I had mentioned my Dusters...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

Yes it does and I'm trying to remember exactly why and when. Suspension suspension suspension, just when you think it's good you add power and find out it needs to be better or coulda shoulda been better already.

It's a TKO modified by Keisler to fit A bodies with less cutting which I feared back then. It's only rated for 375 or 425 torque. The car has been sitting for twenty years lost a cam lobe with less than 3K miles on it and lost interest and then life things happened. I will definitely check that...

Port my current M1 single plane or install the RPM Air Gap?

I auto crossed it with 275/60/15 BFG drag T/A, SS springs and Calvert bars. It didn't do anything well, wouldn't launch at the strip and didn't handle corners very well at the auto cross events. I'm in the process of changing it's suspension wheels etc to a more touring suspension. I likely did...

It's not a drag car although it's been to a few tracks, its not an autocross car however I will do more of them in the future but what it must do more of is highway miles due to my rural location. David Vizard, Uncle Tony's garage, Unity motorsport. Mission impossible Dodge 302 Head porting

What's interesting. HP per CFM. Easy way, HP less expensive and known. Hard way, HP is more expensive because not everyone is a head porter with equipment and years of knowledge and it's time-consuming. Easy way not much NEW learned, will be enjoying HP sooner. Hard way something new which...

That sounds really sketchy! I would drive my hotrod into Canada on a beautiful summer weekend and pull a Finnegan and Freiburger move summit style. Leave my tired but trusty 318/360 with the builder for core.

    Can someone explain stroker kits

My reply to the question why do strokers cost so much. So you pick out a stroker kit 1300 for a cast crank, cast piston and a forged rod kit with a balance job. I chose Scat, they as a company have been around for a long time and are trusted by many. 1300-2500 So now on to the block prep mag for...
