If it doesn't tear when removing I might just do that. I don't see any consistency with the year groupings, afraid I might get one that doesn't fit.

So apparently the knucklehead I bought the car from moved the drivers seat forward and drilled holes to remount. Would of been easier to slide the seat forward. Now I have to plug 4 holes and put the seat back. :violent1:

Ill have to get a pic of it maybe someone made something for under. I might put some steel bar I have also.

While working under the dart I noticed the front seat bolts were a little loose then I saw what appeared to be outlines of what was maybe a bracket to add support underneath. On the buckets were there under car brackets or braces for added support/strength?

Forgot to ask if any plymouth ones will work.

Redfish I would definately be intrested. The guy who got both of mine ordered the wrong one for the front than left the adhesives and I never saw him again. So I found a very good set of the trim pieces and the screws but cant find anyone here who wants to do the drilling and install the trim...

Any ideas on where to find a front window gasket for the 67 dart with the push in plastic trim?

So I watched this build-it-show and they changed a set of door handles on a gm car. It actually looked real good and they were very detailed oriented through the process. So I figure since Im still doing body work why not. Any ideas on what years of cars flush door handles wil fit a 67 dart...

Thats probably a wise choice. I posted some pics of the headlight buckets I got recently under fiberglass help. Supposed to take 4 weeks i got them in 1 and they look rushed. The fenders I purchased from another party are very nice though. Maybe a design flaw???

Thanks for the help & opinions. I agree with the junk part but the fenders were a third party deal & I didnt know who they were from. There not to bad looks like they took some time with them & strengthened the weak spot on the back side,unfortunately nobody else made the buckets & my metals...

Well I got my F/B headlight buckets from unlimited prdcts today & are they crappy looking. That aside does anyone have any tips on how to match them to the fenders. They dont look like they will work at all but Im not a body person. Any help is appreciated.

Good Luck Fred. I had the same dilema and bought a 68 set from a member here of the chroe trim with all the screws. Gaskets in and well see if I can find a competent shop to do the work. Have Fun. Dean

Yes my ? is about installing them. I dont know the difference in weights but these have tabs where they bolt on just no holes drilled through. Would it be easier to have a body shop replace them or is it pretty easy to do yourself.

I already got them from a honda owner. There in excellent shape got the pair for about $200. You would be real hard pressed to find someone worse than me at body work so I dont want to mess these up. Thanks for the tip.

Good Day all; Any info or tips on replacing the steel fenders with fiberglass counterparts would be very much appreciated. Going on a 67 with 1 original and 1 68 on the pass. side. The bumper will be following soon. The fiberglass has no holes just the tabs. Any problems I will run into? are...

My problem is the tire is only rubbing on the panel the springs arent in the way so if I move them wont the rubbing still be there? I would gladely trade all 4 wheel well trims for the labor of the 2 rears!!! Any takers??? Please :munky2:

Thanks for all the suggestions. The pass panel is in not so good shape so if I ruin that one first its all good. I like the bat idea,hammerings just not my thing anymore to noisy. Well see what happens. The back spacing allows for a lot of room on the inside so no spring relocating needed...

Good Day,I have heard of people widening the rear wells by rolling a pipe or something between the well and the wheel. Has anyone tried this and is there another way to open them an inch wider without butchering or cutting? Thanks for the help.
