I have ANPAC chrome. No claims, but agreed on value and it doesn’t have all the restrictions. As long as not daily work vehicle and stored in a locked facility. Under $300 a year. I know not what you asked but putting it out there.

Old TRW Catalogue, Any body have one?

I’ve got sealed power catalogs from 1988 1989. The TRW interchange in them does not show that number, nor does the piston to wall clearance chart list it.

    non-Mopar running issue

Off the top of my head is the throttle body butterfly closing all the way, next would just be a vacuum leak. Those are just guesses. Maybe clean the TB and see where it goes. Mileage may just be due to fuel blend changes and warmer temps. Never been under the hood of one.

    205 transfer case guru's needed....

How’s the double cardan joint at transfer case for the front driveshaft? There’s a ball and spring in there that tensions the joint and the “pin” the ball and spring goes on rust and wears. If when it’s disconnected it just flops around and doesn’t kind of spring one way or other good chance...

US Car Tool - LVL 3 Kit Differences

The Dart is a 111” wheel base, Duster is 108”. So the difference should only be in the frame connectors as far as I know. Yes. Just found it on their site.

    Do you get nervous?

Without a doubt what rusty rat rod said. But I still drive as defensively as I can and situational awareness. But I do that daily too. My biggest thing is going somewhere and parking. Don’t take long for one to disappear and people don’t respect, for the most part, other peoples stuff.

Anyone use these axle repair bearings?

The whole premise for the repair bearing is due to the rollers riding directly on the axle shaft. If the axle is worn in the normal area where the original bearings ride, the repair bearing moves the rollers inboard to an undamaged area of the axle, provided that’s good. It’s possible your axle...

    failing body shop schedule

To add to the above. Before dropping your car any where have a written contract on time frame and money due. A lot of people set up “draws” on work done as far as money. If the crap hits the fan and you have a contract. Sounds like the guy is running in the weeds to me.

Agreed value or stated value for collector car insurance.

I use ANPAC (American National) Chrome insurance on my Demon. Agreed value. Also doesn’t carry all the stipulations (IE only driving to car shows or parades). Covered year round and less than $500 annually. One stipulation is it has to be stored inside. Haven’t had any claims so can’t answer to...

Blue Streak Automotive Parts deleted from Rock Auto catalog?

Unfortunately it’s probably going the same way everything else has. These cars are 50 plus years old now. The demand isn’t like it used to be. The conglomerates have been buying up competition for years. Holley as an example, look at the brands they’ve bought. If the manufacturers have an item...

    North Dakota Mopar find

Would be interesting to learn where the car has been. I had a high school physics teacher, early 80’s that had two 69 RT’s. One was a 4 speed car , the other was and automatic SW Ohio. Body color was exactly the same on them both. They matched yours which by the way is beautiful. My cousin...

    Tachometer Firewall hole location?

I’d saved this from another post. Pretty sure it’s for 71 as I “believe” there were differences between The years. If the hole is not there you’ll have to drill it. I just used an empty spot on the bulkhead connector. The one that shows plugged was for the manual foot pump hoses for the...

    Anyone know this car?

My initial thought when I saw it was heim joints. I say that because it happened after a lot of side loading making the turn. That and not having a pan hard bar to limit side loading. Heims are used all over aircraft but move in a linear motion. That was my thoughts. But don’t really know.

CHANGING MY 727 FOR AN A518

727 has one bolt hole and lug offset on both converter and flex plate. I usually index it before installing and paint a stripe on flex plate and converter so I know where it has to be. Usually don’t know til you get to last bolt that it’s off. If that’s what you’re asking about.

Aluminum water pump housing and alt. bracket help needed.

Measure your deep w/p pulley probably 6.5” diameter. Your crank pulley and shallow water pump pulley are set up for a/c and power steering. The deep pulley you have should work with the correct single belt crank pulley. The belt should line up on the back groove on alternator. I’d pull crank...
